What/ who do we need for next season to be succesful next season? Personally I think O Donnell will go as he likes to have that particular clause in his contract and Dopey Doyle will replace him unfortunately. Out of this current crop of shite I'd get deals for Ball, Butterfield (make him captain) and maybe Callum woods. Get the Robinson situation sorted one way or the other, and start to harvest players from the likes of Bury and Bolton. I think Mellor Paudie and Callum woods will be 3 of the starting back 4 so we need a proper cb in there and then we need whole new bunch of forwards and wingers. We may be in the khazi league but we're the biggest fish in this pond and we should fucking act like it. Balls out please Rupp

The lot of them can fuck off. Of any of them i'd rather keep Robinson than sick note for the left wing, and Caddis. Devine will stay because of the quota of home grown players so we don't have much choice there unless there's a hidden gem in our U18s (lol).

We signed all those players last year with no manager - it's no wonder Wright, Riley etc. had no respect for Collins and his evening class qualification in Pilates when he came in. I'd be fucked off as well.
Footballers are fragile cunts and we know if they don't like a manager or their approach they'll just sack him off. Like they did with Hopkin. We got it massively wrong twice. A total random then a wrecking ball.
Bowyer sees something in Wright. Maybe for next season, maybe for the shop window. But with the position we're in with these players, we can't just sack them all off as people want. If Bowyer can get them working for him and they react positively then fair enough.
But yeah, the goalkeeper and back line need drastic strengthening to act as a unit. We can't go into L2 defending in the same way or it'll just be more of the same every week.

Ball and Butterfield won't stay, although I'd like them to. Ball will rightfully have league 1 offers and Butterfield is on 30k a week at derby. Although he'll have to take a paycut as I don't see him getting a championship club, but whether he'll drop to league 2 is anyone's guess.
I'd like O'Donnell to stay but he's probably got a clause like Jizzle said. And yes I can see fucking Doyle coming back, his wife has been strong with the propaganda on twitter for the past few weeks.
Woods I would have no question about keeping but you won't get more than 10 games a season from him so fuck that one. Paudie won't play league 2 next year either.
Scannell will leave, as will Doyle and Akpan. Anthony O'shitcunt and captain towie I can see staying because no one else will want the fuckers.
Wilson has looked decent too so maybe worth keeping.
So by my maths:
GK 4xCB LB RB 4xCM 3xWingers 3xST

We need a shit ton
O’Donnell isn’t our biggest problem but he’s a below average keeper. He’s struggled with anything into the box and there’ll be even more of that next season. He’ll be on more than we’d want to pay for a reserve keeper so he has to go. Let wilson go too. Use GSK as a backup and if there’s anything like a serious injury, use the emergency loan or out of contract market. There are always experienced non contracted keepers willing to come in for a month.
Mellor will be right back. We need a new left back, badly. If Woods will take a pay-as-you play deal he might be worth keeping as he can cover both full back spots. Money permitting I’d keep Caddis too.
Two new centre backs are a must. We’ll be lumbered with O’Connor. Even if we keep Paudie, we need two hairy arsed 6’5 centre backs - the type who eat puppies and brush their teeth with steel wool.
Devine, Akpan and Wright all need to go. We need a brand new midfield. A ball winner and a creator. Get the best of both that we can.
Get shut of Scannell. Two new wingers.
Three new strikers. One will probably be Clarke. The other two need to be quality.
It’s essentially a brand new team to go with Mellor. Whoever we can’t shift to stay as backup.
Quality over quantity. And for once, please for the love of Jeebus can we sign some proper attacking players.

If we don’t give Milambo the 5 shirt then it’s a poor do.

Butterfield has been rubbish apart from a couple of games. Even if he were to take a huge pay cut to come here he'd want a guarantee of 2 or 3 seasons and he'd probably be our highest earner. We've done this before with players on a downward spiral and been burnt. I'd rather splash out on a really good midfielder coming up rather than down. Fed up of being a comfortable little retirement nest egg builder for aging pros.

We need a hell of a lot but don’t hold your breath. We might well have a “decent budget” but two thirds of that is taken up by players already under contract. It’s going to be a long summer waiting for players to leave before we can get others in.

What's Butterfields other source of income? Drugs. It’s always drugs. At least according to my mother in law it is. She’s adamant to this day that Abramovic made £9bn selling quarters of weed to impressionable teenagers so it’s reasonable to assume that Butterfield’s up to the same shit but on a smaller scale.
