He did well at Blackpool despite their shitshow being worse than ours. But Ronnie Brown. Only here till June and too late to save us. Can't be arsed caring. First part of that was my thoughts exactly. Only manager around to have taken a team in a worse state than us out of league two when they were on a multi-year slide before he came in. Strange it's only til the end of the year though, imagine that is his insistence and he plans on leaving when we go down. Shame. He's CV is perfect for what we need in L2 next year

Was he Blackpool's gaffer when they took us to the shed at their place last season?

Was he Blackpool's gaffer when they took us to the shed at their place last season? I believe so. He took over them after they were relegated to L2 I believe, took them up and finished mid table in L1 last season. He was in charge for the first game this season but then quit because of all the offield shit they have going on (which is fair fucks I'd say, that blackpool shower make even Edin look like a polished gem). And he did that with no money, no players at one point, players not being paid, no training ground etc etc. Perfect fit for us Article here about when he left Blackpool www.google.com/amp/s/www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/08/06/gary-bowyer-quits-blackpool-manager-clubs-off-field-issues-wear/amp/

Apparently he was at Blackburn at the height of their Venkys insanity. Sounds like a specialist in this sort of thing.

This guy has Twitter and it’s put me right off him. He’s not got a fucking clue when to use ‘your’ and when to use ‘you’re’. Bowyer out.

Despite walking into a mess I don't think Bowyer has a difficult Job here. Not even the most demanding of fans would hold him accountable if we go down this season and no one iis expecting us to compete for promotion next season. Expectations are at an all time low. If he stops us plummeting into non-league then it's job done.

Can't remember us ever having a new manager = immediate upturn in form of any note. If he somehow spawns 7 points out of 9 from this shitheap we've got a chance. Can't see our defence improving enough to be honest.

Can't see our defence improving enough to be honest. Our defence is an absolute shambles. I just don’t see what’s to be gained by playing both O’Connor and NKP together. Both are shite and no team can carry two shit centre backs. By fair means or foul Bowyer has to split those two up; whether that’s by finding a free transfer or playing a six year old I don’t care but we can’t survive with that calamitous pairing.

If the frames of his glasses were thicker he'd look like a sex offender.
Best of luck, Gaz m8.

Expect to see Mellor start at Rb if Caddis is out or Cb if he isn't. And he had Paudie O Connor too so he may start with what he knows

Won't be here after Wimbledon. There’s only one reason he signed a six month contract: so he can quit when we’re relegated. Only gompers are naive enough to think otherwise. Consequently plenty of ours think he’ll be signing a new contract when we hit League Two.

He stuck with Blackpool. Reckon it depends if we end up in admin again.

Leaving this here -
Long term manager? No way.

Leaving this here - Long term manager? No way. wonderful? Absolutely not, they're wank. But otherwise what he says is correct. If Butterfield shoots rather than fannying around then we probably get a deserved point and we say Bowyer got it right. And as for long term I think he's the right man. He wants to play good football, no shite dinosaur tactics like Hopkin and it's not his fault we've got this shite squad. Hopkin had 30+ games, a transfer window and a free agent market and he was fucking useless which is why I wanted the cunt out. But Bowyer has had none of that so I won't judge him until I can see what squad he builds in the summer.

If we have a competitive league 2 budget we maybe able to tempt Bowyer to commit.

If we have a competitive league 2 budget we maybe able to tempt Bowyer to commit. Our competitive budget will be more than swallowed up by having to pay the spineless shite we can't get rid of. We're conference bound. Truly fucked.
