The article makes for concerning reading. If it's untrue, then we will see an apology from the Star and a club statement. And if it's true? Radio silence

I like the bit about promoting a member of the bar staff to Player Liason Officer. You’ve got to hand it to Edin, he knows how to take the piss. I see we’re getting the first rumblings about finances out in the open with the ‘unpaid bills’ bit. It could all get a bit more interesting from here on out. We’ve got to keep getting behind the club ffs though. Keep getting behind the regime that may well kill us as a club - that’s a good idea. Well know fact in the Rahic book of knowledge of just about everything, a couple of drinks will sort most things out:) yes just hearing the finance stuff, giving me goosebumps and deja vue moment. Hey Hobbers do you remember the 250,000 grand GR paid himself periodically ‘consultations’ payments.

Wasn't it the Star who Edin called out when they said all the managers were turning us down?
Love how they gave him a forum to say his piece and seemingly backed off, but then obviously kept digging into the little shit and Now they have a much juicier story.
Edin know how the play the media
Edin know fookall

We are absolutely knackered unless Hopkins can get some results and quickly. Momentum in football is massive and at the moment we have absolutely non of it.

He'll struggle to pin the criticism on one disgruntled ex employee. There's probably now more of them than there is players in the squad. If he's 'been through three kit men', no wonder they're leaving. He needs to learn to be more considerate and/or use more lubrication. Typical efficient but uncaring Teutonic lover. Woo them more, praise their ironing once in a while FFS.

The Star isn’t exactly the greatest bastion of British journalism but they’re not fucking stupid either. Wouldn’t be publishing that type of article with no basis. Club can deny, Edin can invite everyone’s favourite bearded toss pots for a clear the air, win the fans back interview and deny it. But no one believes it anymore. I’ve never seen the bloke so sheepish as he was at the Hopkin presser the other day. He looks like a man who knows his decisions are coming home to roost.
Slated by fucking Quest TV too, I mean fucking he’ll. they’re not even a proper telly channel. Nominated as zero of the week by another paper.
Fully expecting him to pull one of his disappearing acts in the near future.

If it's true, there'll still be a club statement denying it. No apology from the Star though. There are some very specific assertions. In particular - the assertion around a lack of a player liaison and a former bar tender now having the role. Such a point would be easy to disprove and if false is defamatory. Forget statements, if it’s false, a real club would take legal action. But it isn’t. So we won’t. ‘The club are aware of a press article published in this mornings Daily Mail. The club would like to make clear that the assertions in this article are false, misleading and intended to defame the club and its owners. As such, we’ll be considering all possible avenues, including legal action, in order to maintain the image of professional integrity that the club values so highly’. Something like that.

A statement denying the article will mean nowt - because they can issue one whether the piece is false or not.

I'm not sure that Tyrell's alleged misdemeanour should necessarily be blamed on the club or the barman/player liaison person.

That would would make us look a professional outfit. But we're a fucking tinpot circus so that's not going to happen. The best we will get is what we got when the daily mail released that article about the manager search, which was a comical statement at best.
