Saying he plans to buy young and sell big. Then gives our only saleable player (Wyke) a two year contract effectively removing any profit potential should he have a good first full season And didn’t we give Omari Patrick a three year one?

Not strictly football. But has anyone mentioned anthem jackets? Because, anthem jackets.
Also, them special shirts with fan names on.

The sort of mug who'd get one bought as a gift and spend hours poring over it looking for their own name. Being unable to find it a cunt like that would phone the sender of said gift to thank them and mention that they couldn't find their name only to be told that their name isn't on it, do I think they're made of money?

He has reached out to certain people asking what he can do to try stop the wave of negativity.
Letting people get on with their jobs will probably help..
Coming out and just laying it all on the table and actually saying sorry. not just we take responsibility but actually sorry.

Is he that thick that he doesn't understand the problem? Stop trying rewrite the rules of football ownership and listen to advice from those that have been there and done it. The appointment of Collins was as stupid as it gets and its this sort of thing that winds the fans up. If he had made Hopkin the manager in the first place he would have saved himself loads of grief, the bad run would have been put down to a new squad, injuries and to some extent Hopkin. Rahic would have had a get out of jail free card to some extent. People do not dislike Rahic just for shits and giggles, its because of his decision making and his football philosophy.

Just needs to get on with his job and let others get on with theirs Hopefully he listens and implements the ideas that are given to him (I'm not holding my breath) Use the Hopkin appointment as a fresh start, unfortunately the timing with International week hasn't helped him at all as newspapers need to fill column space and his antics make for prime reading.. Come out say sorry put a structure in place where he doesn't have his say in everything and work on the finance side of things. Or just go down the Ambassador for a pint and a grope and people will soon forget, as long as we start winning games of course.

A lot of the stuff about the 'accounts' of the club which is being used to beat him with is no different than at most clubs. Lawn made a good whack on his 'loan' but nobody gave a shit because of a cup final and promotion. The grief he gets he deserves, McCalls sacking was contentious but the way it was handled is like a noose around Rahic's neck, he won't be allowd to forget it. And since then? mistakes and warning signs a plenty. Worryingly we may have gone past the point of no return, he doesn't have many friendly faces to turn to. But whats the alternative? I don't want Lawn back, he cannot take us forward. And there's hardly a queue of prospective buyers. Just a group of vultures spreading malicious gossip in the hope of picking up a cheap carcass when the shit has hit the fan for the umpteenth time.

I don't think people will forget now, but the natural gompers that turned will turn back quickly. The others will need evidence to show he has changed. The rumour of him and his wife taking home 250k a year between them is a particular sore point and will be stuck in the heads unless proved otherwise. It's quite clear and obvious he is an atrocious boss and is streamlining wages to the point where it looks like him and his wife are the only ones to benefit from it. There's 3 accountants leaving in 18 months, they all took the job knowing the wage. Do you really think all 3 just quit to get a better wage? Nope 1 maybe but 3 in 18 months ?? Don't be so naive, and this is my greatest concern. What is he doing financially to cause them to leave? Is it malpractice? Is it him being an accountant himself and not allowing them to do their job according to English law ? Is it more sinister like fraud or irregularities ? Is it a Glazers style loan against the club to pay his share or dividends ? We don't know but the fact they totally blackout the financial declarations appears to show they don't want us to see something. They need to be totally transparent now and that's the only way of reversing the bad feelings.

The staff turnover is a massive concern, I'm not being naive at all, it needs to change and change quick. The way the whole James Mason situation was handled was bizarre, however I don't think Mason is this great white knight that he is being portrayed as at the moment... remember those early day ticket fiascos?? If anything that should tell people as long as you learn from it then people will be forgiven.. Although he was lucky in that he never really had to deal with another situation like that. That is the point I stressed to one of the people asked to go see him.. He needs to be completely transparent with the accounts as what they filed last accounting year was again a joke. I'd be very surprised if it's Fraud, especially considering it's effectively all Rupp's money he would be fiddling. The wages he pays himself is probably justified in terms of the roles he's got, however if the £100k his wife gets is true (I just can't believe it is) then yes something needs to happen. Transparency is now the only way to move forward and unless he does then it's not going to get any better for him.

Lets be honest, most people were fine with things until 2 things happened.. 1. We let McArdle go to Scunthorpe - Hardly pulling up trees there mind 2. They sacked McCall, this was always going to happen with McCall due to his status, but it was also a daft decision. they should have just let him go at the end of the summer Since then every little thing they have done has been jumped on and blow way out of proportion. Not saying they're totally blameless far from it, however it's hardly the same situation as a Charlton, Blackpool or Coventry (who's fans have piped down recently as they were winning every week) so talk of protests just cause we're losing games (which for most people is the reason they're talking about doing it) appreciate most people on here have said since last summer they want him gone, but on Twitter it only really started when we started losing every week.

Since January nothing has gone right, people keep harking back to the Yeovil game but performances were hardly inspiring up to then. And since January the situation hasn’t had a chance to turn for the better because the fundamentals were already broke. The summer proved Rahic still hasn’t got the first clue about this football ownership lark, it was a chance to redeem himself after the McCall era. But although Graysons short tenure was dire at best his comments and subsequent refusal of a job offer should have had the alarm bells ringing. Its completely because of Rahic we are now one place above relegation, his incompetence and bumbling left us with the unfit, underprepared outfit now relying on complete unknown kids to fill the bench. Its not going to end well this is it?

Its not going to end well this is it? From what I hear, he didn't even interview anyone for the job or speak to anyone and from day one he wanted Collins & Drury to do it... This was the final straw for Mason so he decided to go.. looking back when you look at what some of the candidates said Grant McCann for instance said he applied and got no acknowledgement at all.. this makes sense. He then waited 6 weeks as he knew it wouldn't go down well at all - Which is cowardly and hardly a strong show of intent!!! He totally fucked himself up the backside by doing this, there is no hiding place at all.. this is the real noose around his neck and to not get a fitness coach in to replace Chris Short was even more of a fuck up.. cause it's showing now already.

The question i guess everyone wants answering is why was he so insistent on Collins and Drury getting the job? Not getting a fitness coach in to replace Short? Its utter madness. How on earth did he think it would work? I think we said at the time that for all this to work you would have to rewrite the 'rules' of football management. I know for a fact there was little fitness work done in pre season. Honestly, if you tried playing championship manager like this you would be relegated from league 2. There's only two feasible ways that this is going to work. Rahic either keeps his role to running the business side of the football club or he vacates his role as 'joint owner' altogether. He's clearly shown he has no idea about anything regarding the football side.

Mason resigned as a director on the 5th June, a couple of weeks after Grayson left and a couple of weeks before his resignation was announced and Collins was appointed. Unless Rahic announced his intention to appoint Collins in late May or early June, then I doubt Collins was the final straw. It may have hastened his exit on to gardening leave but I’d guess he was already going by that point.
