Apparently O'Donnell was superb making numerous saves, then ironically at fault for the goal. So many not taking responsibility at the back. O'Connor is woeful. So is Mellor. And Wright, Akpan, Wood, Riley, Chicksen, NKP, Patrick etc etc. The team that knowing football built. Can you make a new banner for the site saying that, it’s a great quote. “This is the team that knowing football built”

Very flukey lead we had, few individual mistakes undoes all that in minutes. Given how the first half went the result can’t be a surprise to anybody.
I guess this is the Hopkin way. 5 at the back, try and keep a clean sheet and then nick it. It almost worked.
Mellor is particularly shite. Wood, a young kid who’s barely played in a first team looked far more steady. Ball needs to start next game.

There's no way that Mellor can be fit given he came to City at the absolute arse end of pre season....

Fucking hell can we get any worse. That should have been 8-3. We were outplayed for most of that match. How we got away with a two goal lead is unbelievable. O’Donnell kept us in it then cost us it if that makes any sense. Which the whole 90 minutes didn’t. This team is fucked.

This shows you how bad things can be when you you have ample time to sort things out, but piss away your choice of manager, piss about pre season, piss about with signings, fuck off your experience staff, etc.
Rahic has realised what a fuck up he made over the summer. It's probably going to be too late; somehow we just have to survive till January and not get caught adrift, then try and reinforce.
The nature of our defeats - Southend, macclesfield, Wycombe, Fleetwood, today... they're worrying. Even fucking Barnsley, gompers were sucking them off to justify our defeat but come on - we weren't playing Man city.
Genuinely worrying and if it doesn't improve we could well be cut off from the rest. These are the soul sapping defeats; not just the gompers excuse of 'bad day at the office.

Blackpool in minor disarray themselves for years let's not forget, manager left after first game of season, still have a temporary manager in charge. What a laugh.

Biggest shock for me today was Jason Thorton is married.
To a woman!
Just goes to show you can never JUDGE a book by its homosexual fashion sense and haircut.

Imagine being surprised that a team with limited experience and full of fucking pussies bottle a 2-0 lead in 6 minutes.
Oh and also a central midfield of Akpan and Wright was going to get us relegated but now they're both crocked we'll be down by Christmas. Imagine the damage cullen will do next week to a Colville and O'Brien partnership. Good job we don't need squad depth eh edin

Anybody remember when we had Evans and Cullen in midfield?
What a fall from grace.

It was awful to watch us. No blame attached to Hopkin whatsoever today but it shows that he's got a job on with this lot to make them function. We just don't play football, at all. It's direct balls to Doyle's head and luckily today he had a partner so it occasionally paid off for us instead of it simply being a turn over the ball to the opposition exercise. We tried a few balls down the line from the fullbacks for miller or Doyle to chase. The midfield gave us nothing, often simply hooking the ball forward as it came to them without even looking or thinking to control it, have a look, make a pass, move into space for a return. I was surprised at quite how bad we were.

I was surprised at quite how bad we were. I've had to sit through that performance a fair few times already this season. We have some potential upfront with Doyle and now Ball but the midfield to defence is terrible. The football is poor league 2 standard and neither of our two wins in eight league and cup games was particularly deserved. Trying to think back to when we actually put a team to the sword with a dominant performance and i'm struggling. Probably Bristol Rovers last season at home.

The last time we started this badly was a relegation season. This team's going to need some serious getting behind if we're to turn this season around.

Queens just equalised 88th min, crazy scenes as Queens go 2-1 up in injury time . Travelling Queens Ultras on form.

We’ll have to dust ourselves down, take that one on the chin, learn from our mistakes and go again next time. Forgot the gelling bit...
