His biggest mistake has been getting far too close to the playing side of the club. If he'd employed a Director of Football and given him the job of finding both managers and players, then he could have blamed and/or fired him. But it's now a football club moulded entirely by him from top to bottom. Sacking the bearded wonder means admitting that he's got it entirely wrong.
I reckon what may happen is both Drury and Collins might dissolve into the background and Abbott will take control and become the manager in everything but name. I just can't see him sacking them. I expect Edin will now do another vanishing act and go back to Germany until if or when the atmosphere improves or there's so few going to games that his presence doesn't matter. I'd love to know what Rupp thinks about all this, Rahic is in danger of putting his investment in jeopardy.

He's batshit crazy but I don't think he's an idiot - it wouldn't surprise me if he fires Collins, especially if we see another shitshow at home like without a positive result to cover it up.
The thing is, the smart side of him may be talking to potential candidates behind the scenes ready to step in quickly but equally the the crazy side of him could set us up with another Grayson type, Abbott, a German, another random etc.
I said yesterday this is the Hockaday moment. That dreadful realisation of what we've done and how helpless it all is.
Collins needs an instant response on the pitch; I do think he has another few games to get the performances improving at the expense of a couple of results. Otherwise Rahic is going to realise our fan base isn't all sunshine and rainbows and cunts who call themselves 'European' on Twitter.
It's one think for one guy to tell him to fuck off home, but if he's got 10,000+ telling him that the crazy side could see him do anything from delusionally ignore to to selling up to completely doing a Leyton Orient on us.

Goes back to the Yeovil game when Rahic got the whole playing staff so upset at his treatment of Hendrie. Regardless of what you thought of the guy as a player it was the owners treatment of the whole affair that so incensed the team and led us to where we are now. All the senior players were shipped out double quick including the appalling treatment of Colin Doyle. The only senior player left is player of the season Killa, and as he is contracted the owner can’t get rid of him, but as can be seen there are other ways. Stuart and James Mason had no future at the club as they were far too popular and competent. Does John Hendrie still come to the ground after the treatment of his son? Wouldn’t surprise me if he doesn’t rename the McCall and Hendrie room in the near future.

The comments about how the single most important thing for the future was togetherness / unity or whatever it was - looks now to have meant "I need everyone that has failed to show unwavering loyalty to me - out of the club". He has now put that into action with no consideration towards how that almost total clear-out would effect the team's prospects on the field. He doesn't care about Bradford City, he cares about carrying on living his fantasy. He's realised the only way to carry on that fantasy is to work with people who are as inexperienced as he is, who won't - as a result - answer back and upset him.

The twat doesn’t even back himself and his strategy. A year ago he could have bought Dack with change from a million, he bought McCarten, Poleon and Reeves. One is injured and the other two gone. Meanwhile Dack is being touted for a £10m move to Leicester. £10m Edin, that’s £4m for the club and you and Rupp getting your £6m back. But you bottled it and trusted your knowledge of football. Knobhead.

Knobhead. He thinks he can get lucky by picking up kids released by bigger clubs at random. The odds on this strategy working the way Edin’s executing it are negligible at best. Spending cash shortens the odds of unearthing a gem but we’re stuck with a man so confident in his own ability to find diamonds in turds that we’ve got fuck all chance of that happening. Why spend when you’re utterly convinced your footballing expertise can see it happen for free? While the likes of Peterborough are out there spending little and recruiting lots, we’re sat here filling our squad with players who never are, were or ever will be good enough. But if you don’t like it, ‘there is the door’.

Knobhead. The trouble with Rahic is that his very presence stinks out the fucking place. You could just about imagine someone like Dack coming to us, under Stuart whilst we were looking like play-off certs - however he'd quickly realise that the atmosphere at the club was somewhat unusual, where you've got the German version of David Brent hanging around in the background and popping up where you, as a player, wouldn't except a chairman to be. We could have singed Dack, possibly, but the toxic atmosphere whereby the manager can't stand the chairman and visa versa makes us clinching the promotion that Blackburn achieved very unlikely and the outstanding performances from Dack himself produced less likely too. As a result then it's hard to imagine that his star would rise whilst being a Bantam. Wyke is another example of the Rahic factor, we've had to cash in on him because he was never going to sign a new contract with us. There was never even any talk of a new contract which must've been because the noises were that he wouldn't sign up for more of this shite no matter what. We are heading towards genuine basket case and this summer's transfer window might be the last where good players like Doyle and Payne sign up. We're busy making the Venkys look like football gurus.

Payne and Scannel are geographically fortunate signings. I'll bet it was their agents that alerted us because they're not players we'd dream of scoouting.

Fuck Rahic. Let’s get the protest moving. This club is fucked under that lunatic. It really is. He isn't going to change, nor improve. This is the side that he has built on the DoF side, with Abbott et al. His management team. He inherited a great team and club on the up. We must have the only German who isn't methodical and a great planner.

'Stefan, let's buy a football club'.
As German brainfarts go, it's right up there with:
'Right fellas, we're going to invade Russia in the winter'

There's a fair few daft ideas flying around but there's only one that will work. This model relies on being self funding, any decent-sized loss of income and it's fucked. If Rupp decided to, he could fund any deficit (I don't believe for a minute that he would), Rahic has put his every penny into buying the club on the basis that his footballing genius can turn us into a production line for cast offs turned multi-million pound sales. Any hit in the club's budget puts huge pressure on Rahic since it makes his already failing model even less likely to succeed and shows that he's not the boardroom colossus he thinks he is. He (Edin) can't afford to fund any shortfall so in the unlike event Rupp did, he wouldn't do if from the goodness of his heart; there'd be a price for Edin - either financial or a lessening of involvement.
The only way to make a difference to Edin is financially - don't buy a season ticket next year.
Anyone buying a season ticket is aiding and abetting Edin Rahic in taking their club down the shitter.
