I might have mentioned this once or twice before but, as a club, we need to become more ruthless and it starts with the fans. We need to stop this ridiculous habit of trying to find reasons to like players: they're either up to it or not. You know when you've found somebody reaching in this way when they start relying on intangibles to defend a player as opposed to hard stats and genuine results. Dieng is the perfect example because he makes a living by just getting by yet he's said to 'knit things together'. Players like that shouldn't be able to hide in our team anymore and they either shape up, start contributing in a genuinely recognisable way or ship out. For me three players who should be losing their places if possible would be Dieng, McMahon and Clarke. Doyle should be getting a little twitchy after today too. No more excuses, perform or you're dropped. Find some form or find the door. Bit harsh on Dieng I think, played well today again apart from the 3rd goal. Too many of the others getting complacent though. I'm just not seeing it with Dieng. He gets by on too little for my liking and if I were his manager I'd be demanding more from him.

Needs to be challenged by McCall to take his game up a a level. Seems to coast through games a bit too much. Lets see if he really has got it in his locker to be a match winner.

I've got a mate who turned out once for Guiseley reserves when they were desperately short of players. Now describes himself as a former semi professional footballer. I hate him because I want to be him.
