Scared of the big crowds. Whoever it was, was right.

Just think how sparsely populated those stands are going to be when it all goes to shit next season with a third less season ticket holders. It would seem that as soon as crowds have started to dwindle over the last couple of weeks, we’ve found our form again. Turns out ‘getting behind the lads’ actually works against them. So true. Makes no sense does it? It's like a double kick in the bollocks for the fans who endured games like blackpool and all the other shit games, and then decided to miss a few matches.

I didn’t even stand up when the 2nd went in. Looked like handball in the buildup but nobody else seemed to notice. Shite game, really poor tactics but more proof that percentage football wins the day over passing and moving. All a bit depressing really. Tonight highlighted just how poor Panzer’s finishing is, but the Gompers have taken him straight to their hearts. Another standing ovation and a love heart back to the crowd from him.

Not 'the love heart'.

Can't go on Saturday and I'm genuinely gutted. I just know Bruenker will score and only über Gompers will be there to see it. The mighty Kai's one and only goal for City and it's another Hereford 'I was there moment' moment I've managed to piss away.

Average league 1 shite tonight, they played the better football but theres a reason why they are down the bottom, they were fucking useless around the penalty area. Played good football getting there though. We were just same as. Boring game, boring season. Football can go fuck itself etc. We did play better without Vincelot which is hardly surprising.

Properly shit game. They looked better for most of it, passed well seemed half decent attack. Crowd lowest I’ve seen at home in the league this season.
Why the fuck did he keep panzer on all game? Useless. Polo and Shaz must feel like shit being kept on the bench for that and end up coming on for a tiny cameo. Where’s the fucking logic in that?
Lund literally anonymous all the time he was on. Law came on did well, anyone else notice he went straight down the tunnel at FT? He’s gone in the summer.
Just fucked off that all we had to in the last 16 games was pick up 7 or 8 more points. Don’t know why though we’d have made a cunt of it anyway. Players did it to themselves though. Talk about cutting your nose off to spite your face.
At least vince stayed on the bench.

Football can go fuck itself etc. Not long to go now though. Then we'll have the world cup, to just get behind the lads ffs. What a prospect. A guess a miniscule crumb of comfort is that MK Dons will be relegated. Good chance it'll be our turn next season.

Stuff mentioned tonight at the game does give an indication that we might well struggle next season. Can't see any way they will keep Grayson here, what he wants and he will get are miles apart. There is no money.

The parallels between Bruenker and Little Jim are starting to worry me. Signed from the amateur leagues, piss poor footballer, tries hard, crowd taking him to their hearts for fuck know what, doesn't score, doesn't assist - we've got a 'legend' in the making.

Its the Bradford way. As long as you give 100% and defend your own box at corners. Seen the stick Wyke has got over the last few months. Forget the fact he's got 16 goals this season, us fans want to see him chase lost causes like a headless fucking chicken. Or 'presence' as i think the popular description is now. It's all about the 'presence'.

You make out Hanson was our worst ever player. If fans think he will do anywhere near as well, from the brief bit we've seem of him, well they must have seen something that is pretty unobvious to many.

He wasn’t the worst player ever, just a lower league plodder who was very limited but tried really hard and was adored for it. I’m seeing it happening again with Bruenker and I’m tired of watching players like that being feted by fans with little ambition or appreciation of quality.

It doesn’t mean we boo their every touch but we don’t all have to pretend they’re decent players either. Unless we’re proper fans who get behind the lads ffs obviously.

I think i've mentioned it before but our fan base is happy to accept mediocrity. As long as that mediocrity gives its all. Its one of the reasons this club will never go anywhere in its present guise. We joke about 'being happy to have a club to support' but that phrase sums us up to a tee. It should be implemented in the club badge.

Brunker is a poor mans Hanson. And he’s starting in our first team.
Thank you very fucking much Mr Rahic.

It was 2-0 last night with 2 goals from set pieces - that’s 4 in a week - including another keeper error - that’s 3 in a week.
It’s good we’re getting these moments as we’re doing fuck all in open play to try and score.
How many, how many fucking times do we go backwards when in possession? How many times do possible breaks or runs end up with things coming to a total halt? Not just slowing down but a stop altogether?
We played with zero fucking confidence last night going forward. Safety first at every opportunity, epitomised by how little their keeper had to do, again.

I don't know too much about Grayson's preferred style of play but the overriding issue here for me is one of shit players. You only have to look around the pitch trying to find a bit of quality in our team to see that we're staffed almost entirely by shite players or at least players who it wouldn't be too hard to improve upon. Honestly, if we can't improve on the majority of what we put out last night then we might as well sack the transfer committee entirely and just pick randomly from emails from agents.
