Bet its not a left wing back or left back. The one position that we're desperate

Hearing we’re in talks with another old flame, but it hinges on offloading some other shite to free up budget Edit: too tasteless even for me.

Riley would fit the signing criteria, wouldn't he? "Shit and not fit."

For an actually useful former player I'd throw out Greg Leigh at Oxford
Left back and looks like he's 2nd choice in L1 now following an injury so might be an option.
But obvs that's a sensible transfer. So actually expect we're calling up Billy Clarke again

Apparently we’re trying to keep Young, but he wants a new contract on more money… if not here then somewhere else.

Seems to have legs this one. Could either be a great PR move or another one for the nearly eleven.

Wyke is on 10k a week at Wigan banging goals in, we're shite and no chance of going up. There's no chance he's signing up for 18 months in League 2 with this clusterfuck of a club

There's no chance he's signing up for 18 months in League 2 with this clusterfuck of a club Would he be a starter if he came or backup like Oliver was? No way would he come back to sit on the bench. Saying that, looking at the table Wigan are only 5 points off the bottom 4 and have played a game more than some of the teams down there, so he may well want to leave. You'd think other clubs would be in for him - but at the same time with his heart issues, would they? His contract's up in the summer tho, so if they don't want to keep him or have someone else to bring in, maybe a loan deal wouldn't be that far fetched.
