Ermmmmm strong Rumours James Hanson is at VP right now Not funny. The Oxford one not the Grimsby one. Either way they're not popular with their clubs fans.

That’s some window. The change in this squad in just one month is pretty impressive.
Only worries for me are that we’re light at right back and could have done with another centre mid but I still think we’ve enough for a late promotion run.

It’s really tough signing players in January We’ve been fed some shit over the years. So many excuses for failing to do the basics. Any coincidence that Rhodes fucks off and we start making moves? Christ that bloke held this club back.

Christ that bloke held this club back. Didn’t he just...it’s been laid out in front of anyone that isn’t so stubbornly blinkered to see now. All I’ve ever asked for is for a bit of foresight and it looks like we’ve finally got some at long last.

Christ that bloke held this club back. Held it back big style. And throughout all that the only ones who had the balls to say owt was us lot. Thank fuck he's gone.

Clarke and Evans better not be resting on their laurels now, they must be playing in the most hotly contested position (with the possible exception of striker). This is how it should be: genuine alternatives breathing down necks of players who fail to perform. Not selecting underperformers week in week out because all you’ve got to come in is Mottley-Henry.
This season could get very interesting now.

This season could get very interesting now. How the fuck did we ever let it get to the stage where our only wide options were a permanent sicknote and a guy that was semi professional at best? And expect our then manager to polish a turd. I know his management was abysmal for large parts but christ he got little in the way of help.

I don’t know if he can still do it but him and Vaughan could be lethal in this league.

Something has happened. It can’t just be Rhodes out and Sparks in, can it? Do we have investment coming in? Had Rupp decided to get his cock out and have a real go?

Had Rupp decided to get his cock out and have a real go? in this climate it probably hasn't taken much to buy the players we have, bet we've spent way less than we did on Charlie Wyke. A good tactic though with the way football is at the moment. Amazing what speculating just a little cash can do to your chances and to the feelgood factor with your fans.

Rupp probably twigged his investment is worthless in non-league, and hitting the relegation zone scared the crap out of all of them. And in such a weak league, with so many clubs hanging by a thread financially, a little bit of money goes a long way.
Don't underestimate Sparks wanting to make a name for himself. I really thought he'd be a Rhodes-style wet blanket, but I was wrong. Fair play to the guy, his dealings so far have been decisive. I've been impressed.

What is it with these opposition fans on twitter when we sign a player from their club and they tweet 'look after him'. Get fucked, its got fuck all to do with you now.

Probably as he didn't want to shit on the club, but its killed his reputation. He should have publicly had a dig rather than worry about protecting JR. It's mind boggling how proactive we've been right from the start of the window, in particular clearing out the rubbish, compared to the Quick Sale Still Fresh approach of nearly every previous transfer window. Turnbull must be playing a huge part in this - if so at least we have him and are listening to him rather than spending no money at all asking the manager to work miracles on an ipad
