But, on a brighter note, that's the back to back defeat monkey off our backs. Imagine how well it's going to go now that's gone...

Going forward wasn't bad. But defensively, an utter shambles again. Keeper and centre back badly needed.

McMahon has been a liability for weeks now and was completely summed up by their second when the left winger had the freedom of Manningham to put in a peach of a cross! He’s lazy, he’s slow and his set prices aren’t very good...what does he actually bring to the table? A fucking fist pump and that’s all! Thompson is shite..I thought it when I first saw him and he’s done nothing to change my mind! Poor in the air, can’t pass and looks weak...sack him off in January! Taylor is a decent player, frustrating but a decent player...only one today that actually pulled his finger out of arse and showed for the ball consistently, where was Law today? Where was Vincelot today? Where was Wyke today? All three of them were missing! I thought Law was OK today. He's so much better in the middle where he knows what he's supposed to be doing. Vincelot is anonymous in midfield. So bad it's embarrassing. McMahon might as well have taken the day off. They had the freedom of their left wing today and walked round him at will. Taylor tried and Gilliead looked OK in parts. Rest were shite with there possible exception of Kilgallon who was mostly overrun. I agree that Law is better in the centre but I thought today he didn’t do enough to get passed the strikers! Granted Wyke didn’t seem to hold it up once making it more difficult to do, so I may be being harsh on our resident crustacean!

Has Thompson won a competition same as Omari? Dreadful player. He's doing the work of two men as our RB is MIA. Thompson was terrible but a lot was down to our right back downing tools and not bothering to defend. If you are playing 2 wide men tell the full back to defend FFS. Damage was already done by half time, we don't come from behind to win. 6 fucking defeats at home. If I were the Oxford manager I would press the fuck out of the next game, they should be coming to beat a poor home side.

McMahon was at fault for goals 1 & 2 Robinson was at fault for goal 3
No debate.

What I took from that is that Dieng, although poor at finishing headers, knows where to be to score goals. Wyke was terrible today but if he'd got in the positions that Dieng did then we might have salvaged something undeserved. Still don't know how Robinson didn't score his chance.

Comments from thie manager -
“We defended the penalty are so well. They sent many crosses into our area, but I was never worried by them. My back four dealt with the pressure superbly. “Our own quality was spot on. We used the front three really well. We knew their full-backs pushed up high so we wanted to take advantage of that by keeping our forwards up top'
Or, how to fuck Bradford City up the arse.

They were keeping two up whenever we got a corner before they scored. Can't remember seeing that for a while. Maybe we're now seem as a soft touch at home? If not then we should be.

I'll do some ratings
Sattelmeier, 6 Good save one on one before the first goal, but then partly culpable for it with a silly pass out to a marked player that led to a rushed clearance. Good to hear people getting behind him ffs. McMahon, 4 As inept a first half as you'll see. Gave up, let them run past him, didn't seem interested. Better second half but his shot that the ref took pity on and gave as a goal kick rather than a throw in sums him up. Kilgallon, 6 First half defence was atrocious, granted they attacked mostly down our right but no-one at the back played well. Thompson, 3 I'm being kind, dreadful. Lucky to make half time. Hendrie, 6 other than be part of a disfunctional back four he didn't do much wrong, got forwards OK considering he's a right back naturally. Vincelot, 4 As inept a first half as anyone, just runs about chasing the ball. Better second half at centre back. Law, 6 Got forward OK, carried it well and even did a bit of the hard yakka in the middle. Gilliead, 6 Some promise, willing to take players on and got some good crosses in, no-one to do anything with them though. Robinson, 5 Didn't do much first half, better second when playing left back. Can beat a man and get a cross in. Should have done lots better with his Chance. Bad mistake for the third goal. Taylor, 7 Proving to be a good signing, work rate and creativity can't be faulted. Guilty of occasionally over thinking it but another goal that shows that he really can shoot. Wyke, 5 Didn't seem interested, was easily marshalled by their centre back and was never in the right place at the right time.
Dieng, 7 Did more when he came on than Vincelot had done. Attacked the box, got on the end of things, just couldn't finish. Did good break up work deeper too. Vincelot for Thompson, with Dieng in centre midfield v Oxford for me. McCartan, 6 Flashes of stuff, flicks and tricks but too peripheral, he's a luxury player.

Wyke's had a few good moments in recent games - creating chances that led to goals against Shrewsbury and Rochdale - but today was like a Hanson performance due to the tactics involved. Except Hanson would at least get on the end of a cross into the box.
Days like today are an absolute waste of £250k. The gomp that he does nothing but may get one chance and score is retarded - their forwards caused havoc for long spells of the game, not just from scoring.
Aside from that, pace throughout the side - Robinson aside we are shocking, and that's in terms of physical speed and moving the ball around. The back 4 today must have been the slowest since the dark days of L2.
And set pieces - 15 corners I believe, and plenty of free kicks around the box, all of which we did nothing with - the one was Taylor taking one and not McMahon.
Saying that, the short corner we had near the end we fucked up from taking it too quickly was fucking hilarious, moment of the match for me.
