Even Parker saying, 'plenty of work to do'. That's a gentle euphemism for, 'absolute shite' if ever I heard one.

I thought going forward second half we looked a constant threat, Gilliead and Taylor both playing well and Law linked up well. Wyke had an off day though, missed a sitter late on. Reeves offered absolutley jack shit, Vincelot not much better. The less about the defence the better. And we are now realising why Rouven has hardly played any first team football, fucking liability. And what was McCall thinking tactics wise first half. Looked to have shit himself against the second from bottom team. Yet another game with only a 45 minute performance.

We’ve played recently with a bit more balance so you would expect for the team to pretty much pick itself! Soon as Reeves is fit we go back to a lobsided approach because we were definitely missing his 27,000 pointless drag backs...just fuck off!

Again we set up against a shit team - oh sorry gompers, how dare I suggest there was an easy game - and over respect then so much we just let them fuck us up the arse. It's almost like we're scared of offending people by setting up to be ruthless cunts.
Wigan went there a week or 2 back and won 4-0, and their players were winding their fans up after each goal. I fucking dream of a McCall side that one day will set up and behave like that.
And the whole balance thing... McCall is signing his own death warrant with that shit. Play players in their strongest position when we're winning games, don't start moving them around FFS.

Seems strange that he'd change it after a run of good wins and performances. Guilty of over thinking at times.

Guilty of over thinking at times. Ain't that the truth. Like ricardo says, sometimes you just want it to be a case of, 'look, lads, these guys are here for you to take a shit on'. I wonder if it's not a McCall reaction to not being confident in the tools at his disposal. Rahic has provided him with a team that's lacking in all fairness; maybe this is the source of McCall's constant worrying. Or maybe that's just part of his make-up and he'd worry regardless of the players he was given. Either way, I want to see us start turning teams round and bumming them before season's end.

If Rouven is the best we've got, I shudder to think how bad Raeder must be in training.

The thing that's gets me if we've had good results recently - Portsmouth, Wigan, Southend, Rochdale - but even the biggest gomper has to admit there was a huge amount of fortune in all of the winners, wether it was late on, goalkeeper errors, smash and grab etc. - that you'd think would give us belief, even if the results themselves we're a bit lucky.
But we just go fucking backwards. Bury, Plymouth, today... also struggled to a draw against Oldham - Wigan scored fucking 7 at Oxford who are well placed; that's 11 in two away games, absolutely ruthless. McCall has won by 4 goals once since he came back, and that was against 10 men last season.
Here's another gomp - when someone says if these players were more consistent they'd be at a higher level. Well that's stating the fuckig obvious, but it doesn't accept goalkeeper cock ups like today or constant non-performances like Reeves puts in every week.

On the plus side, Poleon is out for at least three weeks so that's something at least.

If we're not dropping Law (which we're not) then it's perm one from two of Reeves or Vincelot that gets the chop. Law moves to the centre and Robinson gets the nod in his proper position with Taylor going up front in Poleon's stead. None of this will happen, however, and Law will still be grinding away on the left in April when someone like Barnsley or Preston have tapped Robinson up and he's away. We need to work on that left hand side in January.
