The Sky commentary just seems to be a story of missed City chances. It wasn't a 3-0. I can tell you that much.

We are shit in midweek games.
Forget everything else. That's the main issue here.

My mate who goes but isn't a city fan really said it's McCall's fault for leaving the best 2 strikers on the bench. Said 3 good finishes from them and we should have been down to 10 men.

Hopefully the Omari Patrick experiment will end soon. Two cracking goals for us but fuck all else. We're playing with 10 men when he's on the pitch.

They hit the post and Doyle made a good save from a similar shot, they could quite easily have had a penalty with the foul on the edge of the box in the first half and Doyle stops another goal in the second half by taking their man out outside the box. Also had another couple of good chances in the match yet the gompers think we were unlucky and could have got something if Vincelot had not squandered the easy chance. Anyone who thinks Fleetwood didn't deserve that 3-0 is fucking deluded.

Then we were all over them for large periods of the second half. Probably didn't deserve to win. Definitely wasn't a 3-0.

10 games in. I'm not going to point out every little thing.
But we know we rested players tonight - pro sportsmen in their 20s in 2017.
Okay, but the other thing is over the last 10 games, we seem we have to overwhelm teams early on - quite often we let opponents get back into games (Walsall, Oxford, Bristol, Peterborough etc). Rotherham had a right go after HT in the last game I saw and tonight we went from 0-0 at HT to 3-0 in 30 mins.
When you think about that, is our fitness an issue? We got the late goal at Oxford as we had nothing to lose, and we were 10 seconds from the whistle.
If we have similar results and patterns of goals scored and conceded over the next 10 games, it probably safe to say it is a genuine issue. Especially as the table will have have panned out more and we'll see who the better teams really are..

Theres a difference between having a lot of possession and being all over a team. They never looked in any trouble apart from a ten minute spell in the second half after subs came on. Apart from Vincelot's chance we never came near to scoring, yet they had had good chances to have scored more than three. At times it reminded me of last season where teams allow us to pass round the back at will, it looks pretty but is pretty easy to defend against. Needs a big improvement on Saturday, and Wyke and Poleon fit.

I've just had a look.
Scored 16 in the league. 11 in the first half and 5 in the second.
Conceded 12 in the league. 1 in the first half and 11 in the second.
Obvious problem is obvious.

20 from 10 games is a good haul but how many genuinely good performances have we seen? How many teams have we outplayed? Only Bristol and Peterborough from memory. That tells me we are either a resilient team who can grind out results or we are lucky to have so many points and will get found out soon. I suppose we'll find out in the next 5-10 games. One thing that is clear going from yesterday is that Jones and Patrick are not ready to play week in week out and Wyke and to a lesser extent Poleon are critical to our success.

We aren't as good as some people think we are. I've seen most of the games this season and the opposition most of the time have been crap. Too much possession for the sake of it last night. Didn't help with having two strikers who were poor but very little creativity meant they they always had their backs to goal. Need an improvement on Saturday.

We seem to think we're clever with these passes across the back four, retaining possession etc but Fleetwood just laughed their cocks off watching us piss about then just picked us off when it mattered. I thought Fleetwood were shite, we were just shitter.

Right, I've calmed down now.
Baffled is probably the word of the day.
So it turns out Wyke isn't fit at all and had to have a cortisone injection just to be able to get a spot on the bench?! Huh?! Now forgive me, but if he's that injured/knackered then why risk him at all? Yes, without him we are fucking useless but surely with another Home game on Saturday you give him time to get fit?
As for the 2 up top in the second half, they could still be playing now and they'd be running around like headless chickens. What's the fascination with Omari Patrick? Yes, he's scored the odd goal but other than that what exactly does he offer other than giving Usain Bolt a run for his money running around the park? Fuck me, I'm a runner...a good one at that as well...give me a shirt !!!
Tinkerman strikes again and has cost us another 3 points.
