I'm not buying any of this greatness malarkey.
Bristol were awful, we literally did what was needed and no more.
We still have lots to improve upon.

First half we dominated but still needed a soft goal from a corner to break through. Look back at how many saves their keeper actually had to make. Our approach play up to the box was good. But when the moment comes to make that final pass or produce that final decision, we get sloppy. For a performance that dominant we didn't actually create a huge amount of chances from open play.

After watching the game again when I got home I'll knock McMahon upto 5 for his deadball situations but still poor defensively. And even though Wyke will get the mom I'd say nkp was probably the best performer, he was immense

I don't understand why everyone's happy with today. If we'd lost 3-1 you'd all be pissed off and moaning.

My observations:
Wyke: scored but did little else. Fuck it, he'll do for me if he keeps doing that. Some of his hold up/link up play came off, some didn't. Benefitted from some poor defending and some Reeves brilliance.
Chicksen: looked small. Both literally and metaphorically.
Law: best game in an age but still only six out of ten.
Gillead: poor first half but started to warm up second. Looked like he might be a player.
Reeves: fucking superb. Pulled strings, won possession, worked it to the good and his play for pour third was immense.
Performance overall was much improved and I wish we could play a legitimate 4-4-2 because I reckon we'd look like Brazil on 'roids. If only we had a left-winger that is.

Is it just me or has today's performance instigated an unwarranted wanking frenzy? We were good but Bristol were poor. Now everyone from Chiksen to Poleon were monumental.
