Castleford would have got beat by the Bulls today, that's how shite they were. Bottling cunts. I watched a bit of it and I concur. They were utter dogshit.

Wasn't a spectacle for a neutral point of view but I thought we was outstanding! Watched it back yesterday as it was a bit hazy on Saturday...Error after error on Cas' part. We never let them settle at all which is what I said we'd need to do if we was to beat them. Luke Gale? Rubbish!
No matter what people think of the Grand Final concept everyone knows the rules before the start of the season, the amount of Cas fans after the game carrying on saying it's a disgrace we are the real Champions etc was hilarious.

That's always the danger in competition with a final to determine the winner, you could go to the final unbeaten and lose the last game. But thats the rules. Leeds played grand final rugby, keeping it tight and taking the game down the middle with the forwards. Castleford played like a team who'd never been to final. It's telling that bar McGuire no Leeds player really stood out, all the forwards did their job, the backs were never under any pressure. Easiest win you'll see.

I thought young Walker did well at full back, he's going to be a fantastic talent. I feel sorry for Golding to be honest he hasn't done much wrong when he's played but the 2 are very different players fighting for the same shirt.
FYI - I didn't manage to keep my shirt on.

Hardaker now suspended for failing a drugs test, which is what I'd already heard. I'm assuming the rumours of coke were true. What did Hock get as a ban when he tried positive for sniff? Was it two years?

Yeah couple of years I think it was. Silly silly boy. Does he really have a problem with Drugs or do you think it's just lads mentality and he thinks it's all a laugh?

Yeah couple of years I think it was. Silly silly boy. Does he really have a problem with Drugs or do you think it's just lads mentality and he thinks it's all a laugh? He has previous for being brain dead so it doesn't surprise me. A guy on Rlfans coined a phrase a few years back ,big daft lads syndrome i think it was, and that sums him up. No doubt there will be some sort of leniency plea, but i think it's an automatic two year ban. He's young enough to come back and with the shortage of quality league players he won't be short of offers. The only time we get decent airtime as a sport on the BBC is when something like this happens. I guess when all your big daft mates are taking it, and loads of professional and amateur players do it, he will always be around situations where the temptation is looking at him in the face. Funny thing is Castleford now have a duty of care to make sure he is taken care of after what happened to the likes of Terry Newton. The days of casting players like him aside are long gone, he's still a valuable asset to them in the future.

What do you think? Couple of year ban? By the letter of rugby league law I'd say 2 years. Other sports such as tennis seem to go with a year at the moment. The lads an idiot, pure and simple, Castleford might not get another chance like that to win the competition and all because he couldn't resist a bit of sniff. Have you seen the World Cup squad? Some very strange choices.

Yeah! To be honest, I won't go out of my way to watch it anyway! As it happens I'm working from home for the game against Australia but apart from that not interested.
That squad is a joke! No Eden? No Tomkins? Yes, for me he's not been the best since his return from Aus but if we're missing Hardaker surely he's the next best?

I predicted Leeds to win at half time against Saints and I think Leeds will win again tonight. Cas aren't the same team as last year without hapless Hardaker. You going tonight?

My Desk actually looks out on Elland Road which is unfortunate.I did put a picture of VP on the window so I didn't have to look at that dump all day but my Manager thinks he's funny by taking it down. I've got a few City stickers which will be put in and around the Kop tonight Really looking forward to it. I think we'll win but it won't be an easy one. Cas haven't played a lot of games (I think 3) game last week against Saints might have taken a lot out of us perhaps?

No wonder they all stand up at the Football, the leg room is non-existent.
