I've done well with Jamie Spencer at York in the past. I'll have a look out to see if he has any rides.

Sounds like a right do. wish I was there. I'm all about the races.
I'll have a look and see if i can pick any out prior to the day.
I'm a terrible gambler though, bear that in mind.

For posterity, glory or mockery:
13:55 Arcanada E/W but fancy the win.
14:30 Barsanti will go off evens at least but I think he's opposable. Saigon City has won at York before and could be a good fun E/W bet at 33/1
15:05 Big Country has won at course and distance before and is better value than the favourite at 10/1 for me.
15:40 Novices chase. Your guess is as good as mine. Go have a beer.
16:15 Judicial is well weighted and coming into good form having won his last three well (though not in this class). At five or six to one it's a tenner to win.
16:45 Easiest pick of the day. Great Fighter - get your pants on this one at 11/4 or 3/1, it's romping home. Get in early though as the odds will plummet.
17:15 Nursery Handicap. Another crap race. Jedi Master to win for a small amount. Mostly class Four or Five horses masquerading as a Class Two race.

Looking at an e/w double at Hamilton Kajaki and Forever Lady, 4/1 and 9/1 respectively. Both trainers have good strike rates at the track and Kevin Scott only has two rides at this meeting, kajaki being one of them.
