I liked him but he doesn't fit into our formation unless he goes up with Cook but then we're paying 3 expensive strikers to not be in the team. GA said he didn't want loans and we had enough attacking players so this is obviously Sparks desperation which again I can't see GA liking.
Wouldn't be surprised to see GA fuck off soon

Why though. We aren't going up so the only person this benefits less than the club itself is Bobby Pointon.
If Wright does well we won't buy him, but somebody else will. So Plymouth get a fee and Wright will get a move. If he's shit this time Plymouth haven't lost out.
We are literally going to be giving somebody else's 'prospect' game time at the expense of our own.
If Pointon wasn't pissed off before, he will be now.

Wouldn't be surprised to see GA fuck off soon After his MKD burning I can see him staying here till the end of the season, not getting us relegated, then walking for another deal just to get out of Dodge. He's an experienced manager. He should know how to give ambiguous answers or not show his hand, such as when asked about having the Lewis fee to invest. But something was a bit off with what he said, almost like he'd just been thrown a curveball before the interview. He must be thinking what the fuck has he walked into. He must see why Sparks is a bigger lunatic than Rahic in terms of his decisions and statements, must wonder what the fuck the owner has no interest in the club and why the fans still keep turning up. Can see him going absolute hell for leather to try and win the Dickhead Cup, or get to the final at least, so he could at least leave with that.

He played 17 times for us and got as many yellow cards (4) as he got goals. Hardly a lot to write home about.
Yet our lot are losing their shit over it being a brilliant sighing.

Two of his goals took massive deflections, too. Still, he celebrated in front of the Harrogate fans so that obviously adds a bit of quality innit.

Dion Pereira again.
Augustus Scrooge shitting on us while his fat PR monkey polishes the turd and spins it as massive coup, and the gompers gomp it up.
We’ll offload a couple more squad players, inexplicably bring in some shite on a long term contract and be lumbered with the shite we can’t off load.
Expect more noises about the ‘revenue gap’ as we approach deadline day and Parker etc instructed to scold ‘online bullies’ if the rabble get restless and gompers start to turn.

On the face of it a decent player from a better level but you can't help but think we don't help ourselves as a club sometimes. For a club in 14th with a bloated squad according to Alexander we don't seem to have done much with incomings or outgoings.

Halfway through January and it's 2 out and 2 in (3 if you call Young an 'in'). If anything, with Young coming back we're more bloated than before the window... I get more deals won't happen until the last few days but I have the sinking feeling Osadebe, Derbyshiresaurus et al will all still be here on Feb 1.

He took a good dead ball, and seemed like a nice lad. But yeah, textbook City. Back to the comfort blanket of the known. Billy Clarke will be putting in extra time on the cross trainer this week.

Well Sparks has achieved what he set out to do. The gompers becoming vocal in shouting down people who call this signing out for what it is, some breathing room for a totally inept CEO.
They really lap it up don't they.

They really lap it up don't they. The comment secion of WOAP is particularly enthusiastic about this signing. Unsurprisingly. "Great signing, really enjoyed watching Wright last season. All the doom mongers won’t be happy now, surely they can’t put a negative spin on this news!" "Can’t wait for Bobby Pointon to link up with Wright, imagine the precision passing triangles with pace we can now create, this is a massive loan signing and could now springboard our season" "Great news! At last positive news coming out of Valley Parade. He featured a fair amount at Plymouth in their 1st division promotion side and did OK imo" 6 games for Plymouth last season, 1 off the bench. No goals. Two draws, two defeats, two wins. "did OK imo" is it?

That comment section is pure circle jerk.

The prize money is pretty good for doing well in the Dickhead Cup, it was the only way they could get the clubs to accept the academy sides. So he’ll be under instructions to go for it. Obviously the winnings won't be used to strengthen anything.
