All that aside, the first thing we should have done ASAP when the window opened was find a short term replacement for Walker, that's been the biggest blow over this recent league run. Would you have said that a couple of months ago before his form improved? He was largely ineffective till Alexander arrived. Last night was like chalk and cheese with our movement compared to Saturday where the players just drifted around the pitch in the same formation. Chapman and Pointon both did well and were all over the pitch, whilst having McDonald in there too provided a firmer base. Smith has shown he's not up to standard, Oliver offers very little goal threat (although I think its unfair to judge him on the fleeting opportunities he gets - strikers generally need a few games to find their rhythm), so I don't think 2 up front does us any favours. We looked so much more mobile and harder to defend against last night with two No 10s instead of having a second striker. Perm any two from Walker, Pointon and Chapman when all are fit. Honestly, no, he offered little before GA but then almost everyone looks 10 times better than they did under MH. It's just his natural replacement would have been Patisson, who seems to be this season's sicknote, so that hole looks even bigger when you shove Odasebe/Odour in there.

Completely forgot about Pattison.

The last 60 seconds of this... I know you don't show your hand, but fucking hell... Another one who doesn’t have the stones to say it like it is. “We sold him because the revenue was a bit below forecast and if we hadn’t the Fat German Parasite would have had to put his hand in his pocket”.

Another one who doesn’t have the stones to say it like it is. “We sold him because the revenue was a bit below forecast and if we hadn’t the Fat German Parasite would have had to put his hand in his pocket”. It's probably because he's still fairly new, it's his first January window here so just trying to keep everyone grounded and 'manage expectations' as they say Thing is, us long suffering cunts with our years of experience of some of the worst January transfer windows that have happened at any football club can see this one unfolding into another season-killing disaster.

Loan? Youd think someone else would be coming in, otherwise it means Derbyshire is the main backup...

Big useless lump of shit, shrunk when he jumped and for all the hype about winning headers he looked uninterested in competing for the ball.
5 goals in 46 for us compared to Andy Cook who’s scored 45 in 85 in the same time span.

I hope this is just a case of not wanting to give much away, as it's not doing much to help the STs when the go on sale

Awesome news. What a complete waste of money. How the fuck does this club get it so wrong with so many piss poor players so often.

Fee? We got a fucking fee??!
Tbf, I'm sure sometimes it's a PR thing. 'Give us a quid so we can show it as an undisclosed fee'
