I’ll start…
“If i’m been honest, we’ll have a leaner and meaner squad next season”
Possible meanings -
“We’ll have a bloated squad of aging journeymen, crocks and shite loanees”
“We haven’t got a pot to piss in and we blew the budget on retaining our one decent striker”

No kids to sell, no FA Cup prize money. If the Proud Custodian is still here next year we’ll be shopping in the Guthrie Zone again.
“He’s hungry and he’s got a point to prove”.

Sparks said: "There's no room for mediocrity at this football club" in May 2021.
2 and a half years later, the club's currently sitting 16th in the same division.
If that isn't mediocre, at best, then he's using a different definition to most of us.

She’s a lovely runner, one lady owner - a nun I believe. Comes with fifteen months MOT. Honestly, I’m cutting my own throat at this price. Tell you what, if you don’t buy it, I’ll buy it myself for the wife.

And Cook is tied down to a massive contract for 3 years.
Wrong side of 30 and starting to look a bit leggy. Reckon he is on the decline unfortunatley, this will be his last season hitting double figures and we have him on top whack for 2 more after that

Why is he firing back at Adams?
The T&A asked in the press conference and the correct way to reply is 'We're not here to talk about him, next question'.

Tell you what, if you don’t buy it, I’ll buy it myself for the wife. So our first choice was still employed for nearly 2 weeks after he fired Leslie? You have to be an absolute fucking thickwit to believe any of that 🤣🤣🤣 Or, clear as day the club has zero though as what the plan would be if they were going to consider firing Leslie, nevermind actually firing him. And people wonder why we call the club out for acting like an amateur outfit.

link‘asked if Sparks had any response to Adams’ comments. He told us: “You can quote me on this, I have no problem with that. "Derek had an excellent budget here. “To me, those comments sound like a lengthy list of excuses. “He was someone who ultimately failed here at the job he was given.” At no point does Adams complain about the budget. All the complaints and digs about the lack of structure and direction are ignored by Soundbite who’s busy erecting a straw man. Adams is right but we all knew that already anyway.

Interesting thread about RS on Twitter... It does sort of make sense that it suits Sparks to keep Rupp at arms length. Sparks was right about one thing… the local reporter being a wanker… but i guess it takes one to know one as they say Don’t know this Nige character personally but i have heard he has a bit of a beef with the Supporters Board and the Trust for whatever reason.

The more it goes on the more I think he's Edin v2. It's him and his rugby mates, and as long as they get enough of those low hanging fruit sponsorship deals to keep Rupp away then they've got free reign to do what they want. He's not as invovled in the football side like Rahic was, but hes allowed to get away with shit decisions. Edin's main issue to Rupp was he was wasting his money. As long as Sparks isn't wasting Rupp's money - he's wasting ours instead - then Rupp couldn't give two shits.

I had a fairly good opinion of the ceo when he first arrived. I exchanged emails and texts for about 8 months or more up until when adams had not been here long. I was invited down to his office for a chat. I'd took my camera down to take a few photos for my site I had at the time which was a hobby if started after multiple operations post cancer. RS had been supportive to give him his due. But when I met him and spoke for 40 mins I changed my mind. Part if my work before stopping was to judge peoples behaviour and character. And my impression of him was someone who wanted to use supporters and people to get things done he wanted done. We spoke about my plans for an independent supporters club and the existing supporters brd The impression was he liked who was taking it over because "if I ask to get something done he'll do it" made my alarm bells ring that. A new office chair same as the bench ones while o was there. And he was trying it out spinning round on it. Whilst looking at his phone. We talked about various things going on at the time. Several writers of fans blogs were called various names. One of the local media was called "a wanker" and I was told things that a total stranger he shouldn't be privy to about the club. As I found out later others were on mass When I was speaking (I don't think I was being boring 😄) he was looking at his watch, which I thought was very disrespectful. And then flat refused to let me do a few snaps of him at his desk for my own keeping. It was like meeting Edin all over again. When a fans forum came up not long after I challenged him about Rupps lack of appearances or statements. The answers are on record elsewhere. But my opinion is Rupp not being involved suit's him and the prospect of him being on site day to day wouldn't go down well at all. Club deserves better and I haven't set foot in VP this season and won't until he's gone.”

McKeown has just retweeted the nige tweet. Something must be afoot if the gomper darlings are turning Wonder if Sparks took against WOAP’s recent very mild criticism and tried to go all Billy Big Bollocks on McKeown?
