With Carlisle and Northampton playing each other and Mansfield and Stockport not having particularly easy games we could gain more ground on the top 3. They have had a decent upturn in results since sacking their manager and this game really is do or die for them.
I'd take a scruffy 1-0 win right now but this is Bradford City, large away following, vs bottom of the league. We know how this goes don't we ?

We really must win this game tomorrow.
Promotion as it stands is in our hands as with the game in hand we can overtake everyone battling for 2nd and 3rd above us except Stevenage who we will have to rely on slipping up. So if we win 6 games we are up as that would include beating Northampton. However we won't win 6 games, I've seen City enough to know we won't win 6 games.
Come 5pm tomorrow we could be as high as 3rd but we could also be out of the play offs altogether.
A nervy 1-0 tomorrow I would take right now.

A goal from a defender!
These look shocking. Frightened to fucking death.

We press this lot and they could crumble. They look like they could gall apart.
Saying that there's always a brain fart waiting to happen with us, Stubbs messing that header back and the other chance for them were purely down to us messing up.

Yup they looked dreadful but we let them off the hook by not forcing the issue. Lucky to be in front still.

Open play this second half has been shite. Good thing we've scored from set pieces.

Three points, three goals, clean sheet. Job done. Could have played better but it's the result that matters.

The only disappointment about today was the amount of grown men wanting a picture with Billy Bantam.
Apart from that this game is what away days are all about

Very enjoyable away day with my ol’ pal Neshead Thought we won with plenty to spare really, though we got a couple of strokes of luck at the right time in the second half. As I said the other week, the time for analysing shit has passed for this season, I’m just praying we keep this up, do what’s needed and a few more results go our way.

Wins are all that counts but it’s frustrating as fuck to me that every time we go at teams we look good and they look like rabbits in headlights. Promotion is all that counts but I can’t help thinking we’d have it in the bag if we’d got out balls out a bit more earlier in the season. Further reminder that Scott Banks is a cracking player. Unpredictable, comfortable in possession and rarely coughs it up. He really should have played more games.

Not bothered how we get out of the khazi league so long as we do, but the season’s been frustrating. I think that If we’d come out swinging our dicks we’d have been where Leyton Orient are. Feels like a missed opportunity to not just get promoted but actually win a shiny trophy for the first time in 40 years.

What's most strange is we've not been in the top 3 all sesson but with 5 games left could crash it.
Am I right in saying if we win the next 5 then we're definitely promoted? It's a huge ask obviously but in a way it's in our own hands.

It's a huge ask obviously but in a way it's in our own hands. Yes because in that 5 we would beat Northampton which would be a 6 pointer. I would be very surprised if we were to beat them, they keep bleating on about having 11 out injured but I'm not sure many are regular starters. Their front line and midfield is still performing very well. I think we beat Gills and Crewe and draw the other 3 finish 4th and play Mansfield in the play offs

I think we beat Gills and Crewe and draw the other 3 finish 4th and play Mansfield in the play offs Having the 5 point cushion in the PO places also helps in that as the games run out we might be able to go gung ho if needed. If results go our way on Tuesday we could have an 8 point cushion to 8th, and with 4 to go after that it's a fairly safe cushion. If the same team comes out we saw in the first halves of Sutton and Rochdale we could beat any of the sides we have left to play. If it's the same approach from that first half at Crawley then we'll stumble along into the POs. Crucially for us goals are coming from a range of players and it's starting to click for Smallwud and a few others - autos or PO I think we've found our strongest 11 to see us to the end of the season.
