From first team to loaned out in three days. What’s the strategy here? There's a wall, lets throw some shit at it and hope enough sticks. If Bola turns out to be a dud then some shit will stick. Especially as it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Bola is wank and Ridehalgh is injured.

Bringing all these new names in will either be pure genius or abject failure. To be fair to Foulds i'd be more than happy to get a move away if the manager brought in a new left back, especially if i'd been the regular left back. And Saturday could easily mirror this and go either way. If we lose with that same midfield the shit is really gonna hit the fan.

Eighteen straight starts in the league and I honestly don’t think he’s been bad at all. It’s not a position I’d have prioritised strengthening and certainly not over the ludicrous situation we’ve got in central midfield.

I'm glad in a way Foulds has gone and thats just for the twitter comments. Fuck me our fan base are something else. Talk of him going on loan to Harrogate to develop, he's twenty fucking five FFS. Some even mentioned him to go again next season, why? Whats the point coming back when your manager doesn't want you?

I thought the back 5 are pretty decent in that they're the most consistent part of the team - they always have a mistake in them, yes, but as a unit at least are in tune with one another, more so than a lot of back lines we've had in recent years.
If this doesn't work MH is going to get an arseholing.

If this doesn't work MH is going to get an arseholing. Exactly. Going into January I think most fans would have agreed with what we need: Priority - a top, play making midfielder. Ideally a centre back to provide better cover and maybe allow Odusina to go on loan. And then maybe a quality forward, with pace and mobility. That maybe, became a definite once Wright was recalled. Anything else was really about a couple of exits. That's it. A couple of top signings to take us a step further. Instead, we look like we're ripping it up. Fucking madness.

If he's going to bring a lot more to the first team in an attacking sense then it does make sense although he'll have to hit the ground running. That's all it will take though, one performance that's athletic, dynamic and attacking and it will be "Matty who? Hughes is a genius."
Still need a centre mid though and that's another loan slot gone.

I'd be more confident if the player we just signed wasn't injury prone. But as said above the back 5 didn't need touching at league 2 level the problems are in front of them and as the games float by till the deadline we're dropping points when we could and should have addressed the issues and hopefully start picking points up

Binning off contracted players and bringing in cheap loans.
The German parasite's taking all the money out again, isn't it?

Chuck him right under that bus! Too fucking right - I've giffed it. Don't blame Foulds. Comes back to England, establishes himself, is first choice for months as part of a reasonably settled unit then very likely will get instantly dropped for a loanee.
