Seems like a daft question but is he any good? Barely seen him play.

Seems Carlisle are unhappy about the asking price Shame almost like we value the player so want a high price to make us part with him, Wimbledon want £3million for Ali Al-Hamadi so why Carlisle would think £300,000 would cut it is bizarre

Look at how often we’ve been bummed on transfer fees, giving Wells to Huddersfield for piss all still annoys me now. The only one we’ve had who was any good at sales was that mad bastard Rahic.

Shame Chicksen turned out to be gash.

Chicksen would really suit our formation at the moment, he got forward well and put in a mean cross. It was just the defensive side of things that he struggled with, which isn't a positive for a defender.

Looking like we fucked this up didn't we?
Interest seems to have cooled, which likely means we've got 6 days to panic sell and bring in a panic signing or be lumbered with a miserable player whose value will only decrease going into the summer.
You can't make this up. Another club develops him into a genuine sellable asset with value and it looks like we can't sell the fucker.

If the coach that saw Adam Chicksen in his young days played him as an AM he'd be a championship level player.

There’s some weird revisionism going on here, he’s one of the worst players ever to play for city.

Had a decent cross but positioning, strength, awareness, technical ability were fucking gash. He was basically Liam Ridehalgh.

If we'd sold him the money would have just gone to Germany anyway, so we might as well keep him. But we all know that he's not going to be prolific, not the way we play under Alexander, although I'm sure we'll have a few doing the "but, but, but remember Hanson and Wells" mantra. So all in all we've got the worst of both worlds. I feel genuine pity for the lad, he's been hoisted by his own petard.

The only positive thing from this weekend's game with Swindon was knowing Sparks and Rupp had lost their ability to sell Young this season with him being put on the pitch at half time. I would like to hope that was a two fingers up at those two by GA due to yet another dire January transfer window where our only signing appears to be Sparks inspired by bringing an old player back to appease the masses.

I'm sure they are already sowing the seeds of a take over by some group from somewhere just in time for season ticket sales.... As for cashing in on our squad, beyond Pointon no one has any value. If people wanted Cook they would have taken him on a free out of contract in the summer.

Expect at least one 'undisclosed fee' to be received before the window shuts.
