You remember when he resigned and we all said why the fuck have we signed him, he’s shit and you need to play everybody else out of position to get him in the team even though he’s shit, anyone else remember that?
I thought AOC did alright down the right side but this is a relegation side if the others below us get their act together. Thankfully Southend and Scunthorpe look nailed on for the drop.
Agreed on AOC; did alright. The rest were shite. That front two never fashioned a change between them and wouldn’t have done if they’d played all night.
He did do alright for a centre back but watching the game I was questioning the wisdom of AOC in that position because it meant Bryce - our biggest threat by far - came central. So your AOC who’s a threat in the box is crossing it and Bryce one of our smaller players is in the box.
By the sounds of post match interview that was intended. I can’t understand it. Donaldson screwed up some good chances, constantly offside, and every single cross he was in no mans land. If a 36 year old striker doesn’t know to try and get across the front post by now I don’t think he ever will.
We improved in the 2nd half but the reality is we were largely pumping hopeful balls into the box - apart from the odd moment from Bryce. Someone on here said it the other day - it’s like we play without a forward line.
Novak’s apparently out for a while, Clarke showed again why we shouldn’t have resigned him. The only option we really have is Donaldson and Samuels.
Stuart sounded rattled in his post match. Taking positives fine, but once again the problems remain front and centre - slow starting, conceding soft goals and not starting to impose ourselves on the game until it’s too late.
Bryce helped massively from a creative/attacking stand point. But he can’t do it all himself.

Hoochy: Have you tried the microwave ones from Tesco? They cost a quid. Better than anything local to me. Culturally barren.

Hoochy: Got a few kebab shops on the high street here but they're shite. The onion bhajis and chicken pakoras up here are the blandest things you've ever tasted. Tasteless, deep fried rubbish.

neshead: Place down Girlington road, Roti rooms, does fresh onion bhajis every day, quid a bag. Bossman behind the counter always gives me a couple as i'm waiting. Get my naan breads from there as well.
