We’ll stifle them but create nothing ourselves. 1-0 to them.

We’ll stifle them but create nothing ourselves. 1-0 to them. We're reasonably good defensively and he will revert to type despite the 442 success and we will just hoof out of play...zero shots on target 0 goals and zero intent

If we win this I’ll be impressed. Can’t see us winning it though.

Boreyer would melt if we get a 0-0 today with Doyle and possibly Anderson out for them.
It'll most likely be that or 1 goal either way. He'll set us up to grind out a point - he likely won't change the starting line up that has got quite a few clean sheets recently.

He'll adapt from playing the worst team in the league to playing the best team by doing absolutely nothing differently. He's a pro so who am I to argue with that flawless logic?

Can you imagine how mental it would be if he actually set us up to have a go, 442, in this game? After 5 at the back and 2 holding midfielders at home to Morecambe?
And yet, in a sense I'm half half expecting it.

The Gompers would lap it up

He’ll want to show Doyle we don’t play pre historic football and he talked about repeating our previous performance vs Swindon where we played 4-4-2. Here’s hoping.

I think the above reason is much more likely. He'll be very much aware of the recent flak hes been getting. Similar happened earlier in the season - a couple of games with 442 and as soon as we failed to control the game, he used it as an excuse to go to a 451, which he stuck with until he went to 532.

Yeah go 4-4-2 against the best in the division, get hammered and use it as an excuse to go back to 5 at the back.

Bowyer will do a Bowyer.
5-3-2, cooke or taylor in for McCartan for that much needed extra defensive help.
10 men behind the ball at all times.
Make the back 3 pass it to each other so it looks like we want to play football.
Allow no options on the ball so we resort to booting it for Connolly to chase.
Vaughan to win a few fouls and have zero chances to score.
Henley to be dogshit.
Us to concede early.
Bowyer will change to 4-4-2 on 80 mins at 1-0 and we'll concede another one or two and he'll say this is exactly why I didn't start like this.
Bowyer will say we played well and created chances. xG cunts will agree because pot shots from 40 yards count as chances apparently.
Gompers will lap it up.
Bowyer out.

Not sure in the formation. I’m thinking 4-3-1-2. Good formation for Cooke if so, breaking from midfield.
I’m sticking a whopping £2 on Cooke for first goal. God knows what this is going to do to my blood pressure.
