I can't abide the idea of turning up to watch a load of scousers celebrating en masses, and a load of 'city fans' actually supporting another team. Fuck that. I'll donate to the MND charity instead. Its going to be a Liverpool bumming day. Look at the state of fans - would it be anything else? It's a reason why we have no ambition as a club/business. Yeah, I know it's for a good cause to benefit those whove really been dealt a shit hand. But agree, I'd rather just wire them the money. Aye. Talk about riding on the shoulders of giants.

I'm the resident city fan with a big love for the mighty pool. As has always been city come first but this is a friendly and as per any friendly I couldn't give a flying fuck who wins and I won't be cheering any goal.

I hate it when glamour teams come to town and everyone starts lining up to suck their dicks. Oohs and ahs at every little flick or bit of tidy control and a ripple of knowledgeable applause for some neat interplay.
All it does is remind me how shit we are.

Is it an actual pre-season friendly though, or a charity fund raiser?
Imagine 20k fans turning up with their liverpool shirts and their city scarves, expecting to see Salah and Mane, and they've sent a celebrity XI with Ian Rush up front and Jimmy Tarbuck at centre half.

None of our current lot - especially the remnants of last year- deserve to play against liverpool, friendly or fund raiser. I'd much prefer if it was a Stephen Darby select 11 for us - Jones, Mcardle, Meredith etc and led out by Parkinson - those who had a connection to the man. Not the likes of Josh fucking Wright.

Early days, but there does seem to be a fledgling #TicketGate, LoyalBantam starting to ask questions on BT.
Am I the only one not in the slightest bit interested this game? Not because of any irrational hatred for Liverpool, or anything like that. But because It’s just a fucking friendly.

Rampant gomperism - ST holders who have 2 weeks to buy tickets before they go on general sale but they just fucking have to try at 9.01am then panic and whinge about it.

I'll probably go cos my lad will want to, but I can't see why a grown up would get their knickers in a twist over getting tickets for a friendly.

I'm on holiday but am looking at flights back. Multiflight at Yeadon offer helicopter transfers if you need to get to the ground quickly after landing.

Michael Owen would probably do it cost for his M8 Darbs.

Remember when Richmond organised a friendly vs Santos & told everyone that Pele was coming. Sold thousands of tickets & it turned out Pele was still in Brazil.
Wonder if Rahic will try sneak back in to meet his “reported old mate” Klopp that would be worth the ticket price alone just to see the VP faithful kick ten bells out of the twat!

You know that Liverpool will pull out and go to the States or the Far East the week before and Bolton will step in for Darbs. No refunds.........
