Bowyer seems the best shout so far. Problem is the players are gutless and shite though.

If that's the criteria then there won't be any.

Forest green seem to be expecting an approach from us for Mark Cooper.

Nothing about football is 'moral'. Mention Jamie Lawrence and his prison sentence to them and watch the hypocrisy. The difference between Lawrence and Evans is attitude. Lawrence changed his, Evans is still a cunt. It’s not a hill I’d be willing die upon though.

And I can't get people who cling to this concept of morality in football. On the pitch and off it, it's rotten. Like the people who didn't want Ched Evans here at one point.

Steve Evans. I’m bored of everyone loving us and want more bastards. Steve Evans is the ultimate lower league bastards. A starting 11 of 6 foot 4 brick shithouses and shithouse wins. We’d go from a failed Euoropean’s project to the biggest bunch of Brexit bastards in the football league and I’ll be all for it.

T and A saying Bower from BPA now.
Always liked him as a player. Still a massive jump from 6th tier to us though. Even in L2 that's a big jump for him.
Fits the bill though aka probably willing to work for free showers and balti pies

Bower still lives in the area and would be really handy for him.

These emotionally unstable City fans who don’t want Evans for non-footballing reasons or just to demonstrate thin, public solidarity wiv da sisterhood are getting on my tits. As if their feelings on Evans’ character have any bearing on whether or not he’d keep us up or not or, worse still, that their feeling somehow supercede the team’s predicament, ‘even if Evans keeps us up I won’t go while he’s manager’. If Evans were to come in and save our skins, not only should you go, you should form an orderly queue to kiss his mottled, blotchy arse, you melodramatic ingrates. There’s zero objectivity or pragmatism involved and 100% feelings.
Personally I wouldn’t want him but it’s not because he might have kicked a three legged cat, pulled a chair from under a blind man as he sat down or introduced a female steward to every capillary and freckle on his cock but because I think he’s an average manager whose CV is padded by a couple of jobs with big budgets - something we definitely don’t have.
I hate to say this next part because I’m not in the mood to make any concessions to our players but his style would upset their already delicate sensibilities. Sadly between now and season’s end we need someone who can wring as much blood out of this pathetic stone as possible and his abrasive style would have our precious blossoms crying off training and matches with notes from their devoted mums.
For me I’d pass but if he did come in and did work the miracle he could spend a day on the Town Hall steps with his dick out if it made him happy. Might even pop down for a squint at it myself.

For me I’d pass but if he did come in and did work the miracle he could spend a day on the Town Hall steps with his dick out if it made him happy. Might even pop down for a squint at it myself. Taylor, Grayson etc etc were all 'proven' managers. The cold hard reality is that, by and large, budgets determine success. You might get lucky and assemble a team of seasoned lower league shithousers on a shoestring, which is fine if your Accy or Fleetwood. Where your fanbase is genuinely happy to be competing in the football league. With us, i think there is more going on behind the scenes than is being let on. 'injured' players that just seem to disappear into the ether. High earners frozen out of the team. Rock bottom moral. Manager after manager being sacked or throwing in the towel. You have to ask if whether the likes of Riley are being kept out the squad as a cost cutting measure due to incentivised contracts. You could put Pep Guardiola in the hotseat and it wouldn't make a shred of difference

Some arsehole on Twitter is on about Robbie Fowler. The harsh reality is what you said. No ex heroes, no first timers, someone with actual relative experience who isn't a dinosaur in the tactics. As for Clarke... got to be one of the worst, most desperate signings in years. Only thing that has stopped even the gompers turning has been he played here once. Going over old ground but makes my piss boil the more I watch us with him in the side.

We're a club being run on mates rates with players on £4K a week training on their own. Has anyone reported back from training to see if we're all back together?
