Well at least we didn't lose.
The only thing that's not leaving us utterly fucked is that the other teams down with us is as bad as we are. If we'd won today we'd now be 18th.
Still, we're fucked.

Better than last Saturday but still not good enough. The spell after half time was our best, we were all over them, Ball hit the post, Anderson with a clever flick that was saved, Doyle’s header saved.
But still we couldn’t convert. First half they were better, usual symptom they seemed to have loads of time and space. Whenever we had it, there was no easy out ball, no time no space.
If we can’t get a result against this team we’re screwed. Posh, Luton, Charlton coming. We’re a misfiring side adding up to less than the sum of its parts.
Surely today is the day the Gompers accept the inevitable. No way out of this.

These 2 home games were marked as 'must win' and we've got 1 point and no goals scored. Can't see us doing it now.

At risk of gomping, next week is the real six pointer. We can drag walsall into the struggle as their form is dire.
After that someone said it's Portsmouth, Peterborough and luton? We're getting fucked in those.

The writing’s been on the wall for ages. Not good enough, simple as that. Pathetic result really, as above, one point from fleetwood and argyle at home in our predicament is shite.

Time to get shut of Hopkin and have a go with someone else.
But who.

I’d actually stick with Hopkins for now. Don’t think starting again would help us right now and I’m still giving him an element of mitigation because all he’s had is a January window, in a season where we’re clearly potless. Give him a full summer, hopefully with as clean a slate and competitive a budget as possible, then judge him fully.
But to be honest I’ve now got the least amount of interest and passion I’ve had for City in my life, so meh.

How long has he been here now and I'm still none the wiser as to what our game plan is. No amount of transfer windows and pre season can cover up the fact he's clueless. When we go down, he has to go, he's as culpable as rahic for me.

I'm not suggesting HopkinS should be gone, yet. I'm suggesting Jones as a stopgap replacement if he were to go.
I'm not sure Jones could inspire this lot though to be honest.

We are going down; end of. Like another poster has written, I have less interest than I ever had in this club. I really don't give a shit anymore........and my Dad took me there in the 1960s. Shite owner(s). clueless manager and a collection of crap players (who are ours sadly) and a whole bunch of loan players who will leave in May anyway. There is nothing to like about this. It will take a lot to get me back to VP. I would rather walk my dog or read a book. In fact anything to avoid having to go to VP. In fact, I don't have to do I? £150 for a season ticket next year IS cheap, but it is still crap value.

I think this lot would send Jones over the edge. Imagine him trying to instill the fight and pride that he takes for granted into this shower of cowardly fucks.

Can’t be easy going week in week out, you can’t blame people for losing interest. There was that brief spell in December when things lifted a bit, but that evaporated in an instant and we are back to looking like a shell of a side that just looks lost with no real fight for the battle. We sound so one dimensional in terms of tactics too with other sides just nullifying our few threats like Payne, and then that’s it. No real alternative plan with the players at our disposal.
Taking in a Ross County game in march vs Morton, with the kids, be interesting to see what it’s like, mrs keeps saying ther need a scottish team fair enough! I’d like to think City will still somehow make a fist of this and we’ll somehow be in with a chance come the end of the season. If we did i’d probably make a game if it was important for staying up, but at this rate it’ll be over before that and i won’t need to bother.
