The big fat fucking German has big fat fucked off. We actually look fit now too I think the fitness thing is the major factor alongside the general atmosphere since he's been fucked off. Even Chicksen was busting a gut to overlap 2 minutes into injury time.

Easy to say they were crap, but so we're Walsall - what's their excuse?
I guess they could go full Rahic and blame the weather

If this carries on I'll end up gomping too.
Even Chicksen was alright.
But has anyone seen Captain Towie? I'm worried. Has Hopkin locked him in a dungeon?

That was better. Still the chance we'll all fall asleep and let someone in on goal, but the positivity to our approach is lifting the side. 2 months ago no one looked like they wanted to be here.
It was criminal though how poor we are at counter attacking - we had two 4 on 3s breaking into their half and fucked them both up. A speedy winger or two today and we would have given them a proper bumming.

We're halfway through the season and I've only seen Luton who were a good team and that's with us being abysmal. If we can get 6 or 7 points from these next 3 games then get 2cbs a lb a winger and a real number 9 in before Barnsley I'd be very confident of finishing above halfway

Our attack is, theoretically, top class for this league. Our midfield has gone from dogshit to average with the simple addition of two journeymen midfielders. Our defence is fucking awful.
We’re a mess but now Edin’s fucked off there’s a chance it’s fixable.

We might just escape the drop. Still a lot to do obviously, but i never saw back to back wins coming when Edin was here, so I’ll take it. The team seems to have grown some balls, and as hooch noted, this new back room fella coming in has maybe helped with fitness etc as well. Hopefully we can keep it up over the christmas fixtures.

I thought we were superb yesterday apart from Chicksen (he really does need sacking off). HopkinS has managed to land on a formation and style that seems to suit our front four, that was the third game in a row where we could have possibly got six comfortably. Thankfully HopkinS has ditched the hoofball and whilst still direct at times, at least it’s going down the channels to give the striker a hope of getting on the end of it.
The Gargoyle needs some credit for McArdle being abject yesterday, he simply couldn’t cope with the pace of a very limited striker. He should have scored from a cross from Caddis but for once we managed to get away with missing a glorious opportunity. The biggest difference for me along with the upping of fitness levels and actually attempting to play football, is Caddis at right back. He is everything that Chicksen isn’t, hits his man hard first tackle, has a tenacity about him, gets forward with some purpose and plays it simple....he’s made the centre halves look better by simply actually stopping some crosses, I don’t know how long we have him but I’d definitely be trying to keep him until the end of the season.
Honorary mention to Ball, Payne and LOB, been outstanding over recent weeks, shown some real quality and invention that should see us climb the league if it is kept up.

Apart from Chicksen none of the players you mention are ours or on long term deals. They could all be gone in a few weeks.

Yep, that is a valid point and hopefully something can be done to keep them until the end of the season. If the cupboards are really as bare as we are led to believe, that may not be possible and would potentially scupper the recent progress.

Credit to HopkinS and the players for continually turning their back four especially in the first half. With Miller buzzing round him like a demented wasp McArdle was shitting himself every time. Master class in playing to your opponents weakness.
