Sounds actually not that shit going off Pin Dicks borderline gomperish/upbeat, updates. CMON CITY. It’s not that bad. They’re the better team but it’s easily the best we’ve played all season insofar as it’s halfway decent.

Crosses are a serious problem and Mellor is fucking rank though.

Slow progress i guess, just hope we aren't at our peak level. Hopkin has at least improved us, salvaging a point v 10 men would be good now.

A gompers delight that. Comments heard after about playing good football... what the fuck were you watching??
Fucking rubbish. Absolute rubbish. 1 shot on target we scored from, a penalty rebound missed when it was easier to score.
The ease at which we give the ball away all over the pitch in open play and at set pieces is breathtaking. It has to be seen to believe how bad it is.
Did virtually nothing in the 30 mins we had we 10 men.
And Scannell - fuck off. Anywhere, just fuck off.
But don't worry. We tried.

Pitch looked spot on, no bare patches, hardly a mark on it in fact. The only ugly divots out there today were the ones Greg and Edin signed in the summer.
9/10

There are two really frightening things I’ve gleaned from this game: 1. How truly terrible we were under Mickey C. HopkinS has at least got them (nearly) looking like a team. 2. How shit we are now even after some organising and fitness sessions.
Sunderland are no great shakes, to say the least, and we could not match them in any department. Don’t believe any Gompers on freebies who say this was a good performance and we were unlucky. We are relegation fodder, because if we can’t muster a point against 10 men of that quality we are, as has been said before, truly fucked. I mentioned Scanz’s MoM last week as a joke, better still give this week’s to the bloke who not only missed a penalty but made such a fuckup of the follow up it was laughable.
Still, on the positive side, Kai won a header.

It wasn't even the fact we didn't get a point against 10 - what did we create and how much pressure for attacking play dinner have we have in that period? They could have been reduced to 9 and it probably wouldn't have been any different.

Right, hate to say it given the company, but that was a big improvement. That said it was a big improvement on absolutely fucking disgraceful so I'm not getting carried away.
First noticeable thing was that we were actually putting tackles in and trying to pass the ball from time to time. Sometimes it nearly came off too.
Bad points were the way we just let crosses go through everyone and hope no-one scores from them. Every time a cross went in it was heart in mouth stuff. Every time.
Ratings:
O'Donnell: 6.5 One cracking save to keep it at 1-2 and not really at fault for their goals. As per our defence let him down
Mellor: 3 Shite. Utter shite NKP: 6 Didn't drop his usual, glaring bollock so that was nice. McGowan: 6 What is it you guys are seeing? He looks bog standard to me. Wood: 5.5 Hard to mark. Looks shit scared but also looked improved this week. Doesn't inspire confidence due to his lack of confidence.
O'Connor: 5 Just too fucking slow. Scored but he's not getting an extra mark for that because I'm a ruthless bastard. Scannell: 4 Did fuck all. OBrien: 6 Looked half decent. Tried to make space and won a few tackles. Payne: 6.5 Probably the best player. Looked lively but created little. Missed the pen and rebound. Ball: 6 Wrong position but worked manfully. Looks to have good feet. I'm seeing promise.
Miller: 6 Worked his bollocks off and got in a few sneaky digs but a bit lightweight. Touch let him down when clean through.
Subs Bruenker: Ronnie Brown. Not a footballer. Gibson: I left before the end because I wanted to beat the traffic and I'm not a proper fan. Can't rate him as I didn't see him touch the ball.

Wasn't terrible today.
Positives:
We scored a goal.
We scored a goal that wasn't a penalty.
Now on to the negatives:
NKP can get to fuck the useless cunt, he's a fucking liability.
Brunkzy is the worst "footballer" I've ever seen at any level, including my many years of Sunday league. And what the fuck were all those cheers for when the lump of shite came on? Our fans are fucking clueless. A man slightly above average build and they've all got their cocks out. Wankers.
Scanz should've knocked that cunt Maguire out if he was going to get sent off. Always been a first class tosser.
Back in the relegation places just as we deserve to be.
Oh and can everyone stop sucking off sunderland? They were fucking wank and will be playing league 1 next season. Shame we wont.
Edin out.

We made a better game of it than I thought. Not much in it.
We’re improving slowly. No quality at all up front though.
And Scannell is a shithouse.

One of the best teams in League 1 don’t you know, should be proud to get beaten by them, unlucky not to get a point.

Mellor was a 6 for going forward but defensively a 4 Ball was shit and was a 3 McGowan a 4...he is a terrible player and now we know he was bouncing around the shit Arab leagues. I also now suggest TCA stop it's pretend love in with Brüenker, the fact he gets on the pitch is now beyond laughable

One thing that's winding me right up is this idea that today shows what we can do just as soon as we're up to full strength. Who have we got to come back who's any good? Doyle? We're pretty much at full strength already. We've peaked and we're in 22nd.
