So what? It's basically a pastime that's gotten stale. There's no award or incentive, it was just something to do on a Saturday when there wasn't much to do. And thats the point. There is so much more to do now than in the 80s and 90s, hell even cleaning the bog is more enjoyable than City these days. The problem is that most of these people have made the club their entire personality so they have nothing else. Look at Charlie for example, he's what mid sixties walking around Bradford unable to speak or moderate his actions. That's not a character, that's antisocial alcoholic. If you can't meet with your mates, without the football, I would argue you need to reevaluate your life. Football is a hobby, one that you have to pay to do, it's meant to be enjoyable. If fun stops, stop. I went on my own to Salford. Age is catching up with my parents and they're finding less reasons to go, mate who doesn't live local didn't fancy it and being Tuesday the kids in the group didn't go. I don't want to be that guy that goes on his own out of fear of change and doing anything else.

I know he likes his ale but I've always found him engaging and able to hold a conversation. I admire his passion for.his team.

Some of these twats are like the Japanese who don't believe the second world war was lost.
Sliver is a bell end, referring back to the 80s which was one of our best decades with one of our best ever teams who were 1 win away from the top division.
I know for sure I won't be making the effort to go to the MK Dons match and my boycott of away games since the Morecambe shitshow is still in force.
The fact we are struggling to sell out Barrow is a warning to the chimps in charge that the fans have turned.

I admire his passion for.his team. Fair enough. I've seen a different side to him in town, but he may have been having a bad day. I've got to be honest though, and I liked my beer when I was younger, I have no desire to get in those sorts of states on a regular basis!!!

Seeing a fair few seasoned campaigners against ‘negativity’ getting a bit negative lately. Like this chump:

Seeing a fair few seasoned campaigners against ‘negativity’ getting a bit negative lately. Like this chump: Remember this exact scenario over the last 6 seasons playing out again and again. A couple of wins and they have selective memory. It takes a really bad run to change the mindset of shit munchers

His grandson used to play for the same club as my lad, him and his dad are both good lads, not as crackers as Charlie mind. I’ve never seen him as anything more than a harmless character really, everyone knows him and he’ll chat to anyone.

'Can't hear you today'
He posted that at 8.17am on Sunday morning. Not everyone's first thought at that time is to rant on twitter.

Oh great. Another free pass for Rupp then... Another moron who doesn’t understand that losing money isn’t a problem if you’ve planned to lose it and can afford to lose it. Unlike Rupp, clearly WAGMI are happy to put their own money in. Still think we swerved a bulletwith them mind.

Oh great. Another free pass for Rupp then... First time these mugs have stuck their head above parapet in quite a while. Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't this lot part of the reason the original flyover was cancelled? Imagine if it hadn't been and it got national coverage, and suddenly the BBC are questioning why an absentee left his mental mate in charge. We'd have had the pair of them out not just Edin.

Thing is, it's not entirely the state of the pitch which has angered fans, it's the inept comms.
I know they said the surface was playable and no plans for an inspection. But it screamed arrogance in its tone and was laughable how they used a photo of the pitch in perfect condition.
Should have said -
"The pitch is currently playable but we are aware of the worsening weather conditions and forecast for the day and will keep supporters updated every hour. *pic of pitch as is*"
Then follow up with something like -
"The ref will arrive at xx and a possible pitch inspection would follow."
Then they wait nearly 40 minutes from saying the ref was inspecting the pitch to making an announcement... come on, why so long?
It's 2024 and you can engage instantly with fans and keep them updated. Fucking use it.
You'd thinks I'd worked in comms or something...
