Inspired by watching the last 15 minutes of the game last night I’ve back City on the nose to win the league. In a shake up of my usual pre-season bet I’ve not tried to pick 4 champions.
City to win the league 7/1 Man Utd top 4 11/8 MK Dons top 6 5/4 Rotherham relegated 11/8

Looking at Palace on the handicaps. +41pts at 15/1 on 365. They’ve got some cracking young players and it just felt like Vieira was getting things to start happening for them last year.

They'll miss Gallagher if he doesn't go back, which he won't. But yes, a team on the up.

True about Gallagher. They finished on forty eight points last year so the handicap would have them within four of Man City. I expect them to go better this coming season but the worry is that Haaland up front means Man City go better too. Either way I like their handicap and there’s a bit of added interest in the results each week then.

Watching Palace for my bet, they look superb going forward and are destroying Villa. They seem to have a conveyor belt of attacking talent and Vieira looks to moderate his tactics according to the opposition; hitting Villa in waves like this while being more circumspect against Liverpool.
They might be a bit flaky at the back but it’s hard to tell if it’s how open they’re playing today.
Could become some side of they don’t get picked clean by the bigger clubs.

Posting his winning bets after the event. Take it to the arsehole thread Ok, poo stripe, before the event it is. I withdrew the £300 and put the rest on Spurs. I’ve got £47.08 on Toney to score and Arsenal to win. It pays £376.48. May you spend eternity in a boiling vat of semen if it fails.

Change of plan. £26.53 on the above and the same again on an Arsenal win and Everton/West Ham draw double.

If Spurs and Man U win today then that ninety sixth minute own goal for Forest will have cost me over £1300. Come on, Liverpool.
