You can tell people are desperate why you talk about replacing Sparks, and they say 'who would you replace him with then'? What kind of answer do these trogs expect, who's going to be aware of CEO level individual looking for new opportunities? It's like saying you want to fire someone in the shop and someone says 'wHo wOuLd yOu rEpLaCe hIM wItH tHeN?' I fucking hate that saying. Same as 'br careful what you wish for' Well didn't wish for being 19th in league 2 watching utter dross football that's for sure.

The amount of yellow bellied cowardly fans we have is embarrassing. Bunch of fucking cucks Our fans just accept failure. To be fair since Richmond we haven't had anyone who would not just accept failure. Richmond lived by the sword and also died by it, but he replaced managers and look to move the club forward. What I can't understand is why now Rupp has bought in and seems uninterested why he doesn't employ someone competent to run his club to put it back into a state to sell it. Sparks is no CEO, he never has been. Rhodes Jr is in a place way above his station. I think that when Gibb and Rhodes fell out, the wrong man stayed. Gibb was the man who actually ran a business where as Rhodes seemed to be living off his dad's success. If I had been doing the clubs twitter back 4 years ago I maybe the clubs CEO now, because basically that's all that happened.

Rupp's not an intentionally bad owner trying to asset strip the club, but it's clear the negativity is growing because he's doing nothing to help himself, his CEO who is obviously drowning, or the overall situation at the club. He just sits back as we keep turning up and Sparks drip feeds him what he wants to hear.
It's easy to look at the celebrities at Wrexham and their TV show, but they're doing so much to be active in the town and community. Yes, it's probably a lot for the show, and I don't expect Rupp to be sitting down with fans, but money aside, the PR, positive rep and promotion of they're doing is night and day compared to us.
They even donated £3.5k to a local business that had been burgled recently. Again, Rupp doesn't have to do this - but it's small gestures at that community level that help build their reputation.
What epitomises the view that Rupp does not care was he took a super cheap option in promoting the 28 year old twitter admin to be CEO and the wrong decisions that have been made since. There's been no investment in those who can help the run the business, while he's a thousand miles away. After Edin left, we thought it would be opportunity to run things the right way, have a fresh start, but instead it seemed Rupp went the other way, spending the minimum amount of effort and cost just to keep his investment warm until we magically make things click on the pitch. It just helped back up what TCA had been saying for years.
He barely speaks - were in our 8th year of his ownership and he's probably officially spoken a dozen times. Remember when Edin left 5 yeats ago, his statement said he would do everything to get this club back to where it belongs? Maybe be thought 18th in L2 after 5 years is our rightful position..
But then his 'for the doubters' instagram post demonstrated a clear lack of knowledge or awareness, and only helped to enrage fans further. In most professional sports businesses where a Comms or Marketing lead would have input into such posts, they would strongly advised against posting such a comment. As owner he has final say, but surely someone should say 'read the room Stefan'...
I genuinely don't think he knows the state of affairs and the relative situation of the club. I believe his football knowledge is 'ball goes into net', and he knows little else.

This from the other board. Wow. This needs hammering home to how dire things have been -

Don't forget everyone it's nearly 5 years since this, when Edin left:
Rupp said: "The time for change has come and this marks the beginning of a new chapter for the club.
"The people of Bradford deserve much, much better.
"I will do everything in my power to wash away the dreadful memories of the last 12 months and consign them to the history books for good.

Jesus, so when the dopey bastards who think clapping is worth league places are citing Bury and Scunthorpe as examples of how it could be worse they’re actually using the only two clubs out of ninety odd who are worse than us? I mean, it could be better, we could be Harrogate.
Bury, Scunthorpe then us. Wow.

Haven't had chance to watch this yet, but could be interesting and for those still blindly supporting the current regime who knows... It may even be educational.
Simon Wilson, Stockport Sporting Director;
Edit: Have just read up on his background. We have Sparks, this is what we're competing with...
Performance Analyst at Southampton
Head of Performance Analysis at Man City
Director of Football Services for the City Group
Chief Football Officer at Sunderland
In 2018 he started a football consultancy working with top flight clubs and organisations including The Premier League, UEFA, AFC Ajax, FC Copenhagen, Sparta Prague, Levski Sofia and Leicester City.

Just watching it now. Talks a very good game, its clear Stockport are a very well run and ambitious football club. Its no coincidence they were a penalty shootout away from league 1 and now clear at the top this season. Its clear that whatever Wilson is doing is working, a similar take on Notts County after watching their football forum at their ground last night. We are light years behind these clubs, and its damning that 5 of the 7 clubs in the top 7 were at one stage in non league in the not too distant past. We really are a fucking joke of a club.

We may be in League 2 but we operate like we're Bradford Park Avenue.
We're going to left behind in the next few years without serious change or new people in the club. Those very few clubs who have been worse than us over the last 6 years - Bury, Scunthorpe, Oldham and Southend - show what we're turning into.
From 2017 to 18th in League 2. Last season buck the trend but the reality is it looks like another season of decline.
It's been a steady descent and doesn't look like stopping, 'sleepwalking into non-league' was the phrase used 3 years ago when we were in this position with McCall and here we are again.
You can't be 'too big to go down' forever. We're like an old high street chain that never moved with the times, never changed the way they do things and are becoming obsolete, the Blockbuster Video of football clubs.

The National League clubs are generally well run and professional. Far more forward-thinking and dynamic than a lot of League clubs, not just us to be fair. They are because they have to be to survive.
There’s a reason why clubs that drop out of the League don’t come back for many years. Chesterfield are walking it so far this year and it’s taken them years to get there.
Looking at the National League and NL North, identifying the up-and-coming managers and staff, giving them a chance. That’s what we need to do. Look at Gateshead, they lose their excellent manager to Franchise FC, seamlessly install a new guy, then he wins his first match 6-0.
It’s also the quickest way of Rupp getting his investment back.
Instead we have a mobile phone salesman hiring an idiot for a manager then sacking the idiot a year later, before hiring another idiot. Infrastructure behind that? At least McCall had a Filofax, I don’t think Gent even has that.

People are talking about the 'facts' in the latest article by Dewhurst. Well, here are some figures. Over the Rupp regime, since summer 2016 we've had -
16 managers, an average of 2 a season
152 players over 15 transfer windows, an average of 10 new players every window
A League record of - P 331 W 118 D 96 L 117
So over the last 7.5 years, we've won 1 more game than we've lost.
Dropped more league places than any actual league team other than Reading - I believe?
