Im certain we’ll fare worse than last season, the only question is by how much?
I’m going twelfth.

My prediction is we will be around 13th 14th around November Hughes walks then we improve to around 8th or 9th. Then we get fed the same old shite from those who can't make good football decisions and everyone gets sucked in to buy season tickets on a promise again.

10th/11th. We're going to be considerably weaker and Hughes hasn't suddenly turned into a good manager.
Signings so far are very underwhelming and added to Sparks comments about going with a smaller squad that doesn't bode well.

If we’re playing 3-5-2 then we’re going to have at least one of Taylor, Kelly or Odusina in the starting 11, all of who are shit. We’ve also got Ridehalgh and Halliday who are ok in a back 4 but are definitely not attacking full backs.
If we’re not playing 3-5-2 then we’ve only got one natural winger in the squad and one without an end product at that.
A strange transfer strategy in addition to a lack of quality is going to see us regress and last season’s squad were hardly world beaters.
I’m going mid-table.

When you factor in that Cook won’t have a season like that again and we’re still short of goals from elsewhere then it could be a long season

14th. Same position as the other season. We'll be flying when we hit League One though.

14th. Not quite bad enough to go down, but we won’t be troubling the playoffs.

We need a bare minimum of another LB and a couple of wingers to make the squad look more balanced but even if we get them then I can’t see us troubling the POs simply because there is far too much competition and a good chunk of sides who are better than us. As others have said it’ll be a case of how long Hughes can last, I don’t see him seeing the season out but even if he does then he’ll be gone next summer.

I've no clue where we will finish, but I don't see these clubs with markedly better squad than us. They just aren't there on the whole looking across the league.

Think we will the league this season. Hughes looked determined when he sat down for dinner at WoodHouse Grove.

Dropped up down to 14th. Is that being optimistic?
Season starts in 16 days and the recruitment is incredibly flaccid, Pattinson aside. And while you can't read too much into pre-season results aside from smashing a bunch of postment it's been a bit all over the place.
The fact Kelly was getting praised in the T&A implies we're going to see more of him as well.

I predicted 14th too. Agree regards to Pattinson - think he's the only one who is a definite improvement on what we had last season. Outside of that, I think the recruitment has been dreadful. AGAIN.
I've said it a lot, but not a fan of this Stephen Gent bloke. Doesn't seem to have a clue.
Think it'll send major alarm bells ringing if we get beat by Crawley on the opening day. Wouldn't surprise if we don't win any game in August...

This seasons scapegoats sorry dogshit players will be.... Odour, Taylor and shit list regular Ridehalgh. Beat me to it. Odour and Ridehalgh because neither of them are wing backs, Taylor just because he’s wank, McDonald because he’s injured and probably Smallwood too ala last season. Really it should all be aimed at Hughes.

I've just looked at the starting 11 and bench tonight.
Dogshit.
McDonald will play last than 10 matches all season.

Oliver injured, Smith out. That leaves just Cook and Derbyshire. If Cook gets injured we're absolutely fucked. We need another 3-4 players IMO and it looks like we might get 2 loans. Great.

Seems quite a lot of people on various social media platforms are quite underwhelmed with the recruitment and are predicting mid-table. People finally waking up.
