Just look at the number of clubs who've either hit the skids and plumbed the depths like us but recovered properly, or who establish ambitious and well funded plans and fly - while we fuck about in this league forever and a day. Coventry, Bolton, Luton, Hull, Rotherham, Blackpool, Brentford, Swansea, Cardiff, Plymouth. Portsmouth We're a joke outfit. At least we're not Bury / Oldham / Rochdale etc Unfortunately the on and off field activity last 21 years or so have instilled this mentality in us. We're like a battered wife that keeps going back to her man. Even where we were in May 2016. It's like everyone has forgotten about the years of bad decisions, mismanagement... absolutely everything that has gone wrong because we bumbled into the play offs and have progressed because we've 'united the fanbase'. And yes, we're a total joke outfit. We're becoming known as Attendance FC on Twitter because of of boasting of attendances and scoffing at the crowd in the PO final - but our mong fans see this label growing and still keep pushing it. It's going to be what defines us far beyond twitter if these cretins keep going at it. The attendance stuff is an odd one. It's clearly a positive in terms of the add ons commercially etc and 22k in the 4th division is impressive. But that being said, the willy waving about it has gone beyond cringy now. I'd rather play in front of two men and a dog if it meant we were in the Championship.

Look at Rotherham, everything we could be if we just put our mind to it. Stefan Rupp reckons he’s worth €150M, yet we’re scrabbling around for cash every summer as badly as we ever were when we were genuinely skint. Mark Lawn’s big limitation was money- he didn’t have all that much. It’s a shame Lawn didn’t have Rupp’s bank balance- we’d be a lot better off. The problem is Rupp.

According to that Lower League Look, we're not signing that Brough guy.

We've signed Clark Oduour. Hartlepool fans say he's shit. Great start to the incomings. I've asked my Barnsley supporting mate how bad he is, will report back.

Ridehalgh signs for another year. Serious lack of ambition offering him a contract. We desperately need a first choice left back.

Do you reckon fans of any team we played this season looked at Ridehalgh and thought - "I'd love to sign him!"?
No me neither. Bang average.

I got pelters on another forum I go on because I said he was shit. It seems the vast majority are happy with him being first choice. This is why we will never progress - no ambition.

Found the 'initial one year deal' a bit weird. We planning on extending it when we don't go up?

If we had crowds of 8000, the club would be getting pelters for lack of progress.

Foulds gone, no shock there. Better than Ridehalgh but far from being a world beater.

We’ve got to let the manager boot a few players before he leaves. It’s tradition.
