Salford are fucking shit. We cant not get something from this - slightest bit of pressure on them and they fold.
We've actually been positive so far and we look alright.
Saying that, the longer it goes on the more likely they are to have 1 chance and take it.

You do worry when they get anywhere near our box.
We don't look solid.

It's scary how quickly we go from being in full control to crumbling apart.

Shit show.
On top first half, didn’t take the chances. Oteh probably had the best with a shot from just outside the 6 yard box. No fucking surprise we conceded.
Salford were poor and we should be winning these games. What’s the excuse for leaving Ishy on the bench? Conolly has some pace but that’s about it. Oteh is just a shit Hiwula.
Stats are ridiculous. But how often do you see it? Not just us it’s football. 300 million shots on target doesn’t mean shit if you only score 1.

Our composure and quality of shooting is collectively awful. Throughout the whole side they just fall apart when the opportunity arises.

I thought the first hour was the best we’ve played all season, which doesn’t say much. We attacked with purpose and any half decent striker would’ve had a hat-trick given some of the balls into the box. The last half hour highlighted everything wrong with the current regime- negative tactics, failure to seize momentum and a failure to be assertive with substitutions. The final result was the most predictable one of the season. I came away less angry with the performance than after the Newport game, but that changed upon reading the usual sanctimonious twats whining about fans who, in their opinion, have unrealistic expectations about what results we should be getting. It’s Salford ffs and they should’ve been buried by half time. Accordingly to Mike City Gent and his acolytes it’s all those under 21 who are to blame; I’m 50 and think we should have murdered them and be 10 points clear given the awful quality of this league. I suppose I am a spoilt brat who should be happy we’re not Bury and appreciate that we’re in the top 7.

I suppose I am a spoilt brat who should be happy we’re not Bury and appreciate that we’re in the top 7. The first half actually had positivity to it, you could tell the mentality was different and to be honest it was appreciated by the fans. There were more in the way of close, quick passing triangles, movement off the ball and players confidently trying to take men on or play attacking balls. That's what we should be aiming for all the time. But then after the equalizer... we reverted back to not aimless hoofs, often under no pressure, panicking when taking the easy option, no movement off the ball, looking to someone else to take responsibility... At 1-1 we were crying out for a gary jones / andrew Davies type.
