I won’t be buying one now unless ideally bowyer starts playing something worth watching. Decided I won’t even go to Wembley if we got there in the play offs. I just can’t bring myself to watch that garbage

Adult ST prices should go up with a reduction in U16 prices imho. I agreed with the U11 tickets being charged rather than being free (even though I benefitted from them for my lad when they were free), as too many people just got multiple u11 tickets that were used a handful of times across a season. Likewise I benefitted from a flexi card before that, but linking it to a seat was a daft idea for the same reason.
Put adult tickets up to £250, U16s to £50. Get a reliable finance company to sort the never never on a reasonable interest rate - If you can afford £150 in one go, surely you can afford £250 paid over 12 months.

And that would still be ridiculously cheap in comparison to everyone else.

I've always said a tenner is a decent price for league 2 football, so near £250 is a fair price. Under 16s is also too close to £150 at £100 and should be less. Also don't like the idea of flexi holders being able to secure a seat, it should be seats open to season ticket holders first, when they've had their choice, they can choose. But its all dependant on the football, you couldn't pay me to rewatch some of the shite i've endured this season, the standard of league 2 football is dire. Begs the question of wether lower league football should semi professional cos the standard is.

Blaming cheap season tickets only works if you think people would pay more for one. If everyone who buys one would pay £50 more then it's daft to charge less. I think £175 wouldn't have much of a dent in numbers bought, and we should charge that, even £200 at a push.
But the talk of suddenly charging £300+ is silly. We used to do that, in League One with Todd, and got crowds of under 7000. Even last time we were down here, 2012/13 with cheap tickets, we were usually getting under 10k.
14k paying £150 is the same as 7k paying £300, and with 14k in the building you might flog more overpriced pissweak beer and cold chips.

Ryan said "wear something gay", but needless to say the rainbow tshirt wasn't what I actually arrived in (you should have seen Ryan's face!) Anyway, had a great time filming and happy to be a part of #cityforall.

After two and a half seasons of shit, next year has to be League One or absolutely flying in League 2 battering teams every week. If not, the numbers of ST holders will continue to decline, it really is make or break in my opinion. Fund attractive football and get the club back to the feel good days of Parky or early McCall Pt 2 days or watch it wither and die. A few years watching shit like BowyerS offers up in an increasingly dilapidated stadium in League two will kill the club.

On the train back on saturday we were chatting about this with some Doncaster fans - they pay £300+ for their tickets and moaned about their owners cutting available spend every year.
Anyways they said they would love to have cheap tickets and attendances like ours. I told them the problem is the super cheap ticket is now seen as the norm by the fans, and also it has the effect of not being able to criticise our financial decisions because we don't have millions floating around.
I'd get rid of the flexi cards of well - and I have one - there is no need to have another cheap product when your core product (the ST) is so cheap to begin with.
People will argue the Flexis can bring in more, but the point of them is you don't go to 20+ home games with them.
I always say if these initiatives were such a good thing, more clubs would take them on. Which they do not.

No one, and there's a good reason why, most clubs can't afford to drop that low due to small supporter bases, they'd go bankrupt. Its too low, any club could beat that they'd be one step away from giving them away.

There's a reason we can't compete with footballing powerhouses like Shrewsbury, Scunthorpe and Southend.
Cheap season tickets are great when your product's good (enjoyable football) or your pumping money in from elsewhere.
When you're watching horrendous League Two football and no other income stream is apparent even £150 is too expensive.

Other clubs struggle too, though. Blackburn put their ST up to £300 when they went back up the Championship and can barely flog 8000 of the buggers. This is for a Premier League winning club playing in the Championship.

I'm not going down this fucking road again, but it seems a lot of the quick wins Mason brought in from his GCSE in marketing that could be applied again to support this aren't, even simple thing like send some players down to the Christmas shop in Broadway.

I couldn't give a fuck about attracting the penniless, shit house masses. We shouldn't undercut the opposition just to create the illusion of support. Force people to pay the going rate.
Tory all the way, me.
