Im rapidly thinking Bowyer is a bell sniff. He proper spat the dummy out when Cooke was sent off against Exeter. Cooke hasnt been the same since. The last two or three games have put a dent in his armour, certainly a feeling of negativity creeping in. Watched quite a bit of the Swindon game yesterday mainly to see how Doyle got on. They really do play to his strengths, he could easily had another couple of goals. They also pass the ball around far better than we do, their movement in the final third is a level above ours and it allows Doyle time and space. Our movement in the final third is ponderous to say the least. We're still well in the picture but a few results either way now and we're either still bang up for it or mid table mediocrity and i can't decide which. The further we get into this season the more I think we’ll implode. Six games ago I thought we’d improve - we haven’t. If anything we’ve got worse. Bowyer winds me up more and more with every ridiculous tactical decision.

Bowyer winds me up more and more with every ridiculous tactical decision. That worries me and i sense a lot of other fans. To be fair Bowyer got a head of steam going and most fans jumped on board, me included. But the last few games have ignited the concerns i had throughout the games we actually have won, that being that we aren't actually that good. Its something you put to the back of your mind when winning and in the top two or three but that doubt has grown with Bowyers bizarre tactics and substitutions lately. Stuff like having Reeves on the bench and not playing him. Fuck sake, BowyerS has been one step away from giving him a reacharound in the press, gushing praise like a jerking off addict, but then steadfastly picks anyone but him. And bring subs on for five minutes when we're losing or negative subs. But then what do our fan base deserve? I 've already read comment about 'well i'd have snapped your hands off if you told me we'd be seventh at this stage of the season.' Utterly soul destroying.

We have better players generally speaking. Or certainly, at least as good.

The most excited I've seen Bowyer was after we fluked a 1-0 win at Stevenage. We were shite. Proper last ditch, hanging in there performance.
He loved it. Showed our spirit or summat. Massive warning sign.
We're not building momentum and his team selections, subs and tactics are bemusing.
We wont get top 3 and right now I think top 7 is 50/50

Massive warning sign. We're not building momentum and his team selections, subs and tactics are bemusing. We wont get top 3 and right now I think top 7 is 50/50 Grinding out those sorts of results and performances is great when you get to the last 10-15 games of the season when teams who are challenging often have to dig deep, often it's a case of who blinks first. It's easy to compare this side to 2013 as it's the closest we've got to what you can call success, but L2 hasn't changed in many ways. That side had belief, partnerships, being able to trust and rely on the man next to you or in front or behind to do their bit. Like when a patched up side was thrown out away at Wigan, and everyone feared the worst but we put in a highly disciplined, focused and organised performance. You can pick out the core 15-16 players from that side and reel off their exact roles and how they fit in. This current side doesn't have any of the above and where we'll get badly found out if we go on a bit of a losing run.

Spot on.
Come January, we SHOULD be in a position to put out:
RoD Henley AOC BRE Wood Ismail Reeves Cooke Pritchard Donaldson Doyle.
Balance. Pricthard can tuck in, you've got real technical quality in midfield, presence and finishing up front. Connolly as an impact sub against tired defences, Palmer as backup to midfield, Vaughan as depth up front.
That side should shit on thos league.
But Doyle wont be back, Cooke will be sacked up and itll be back to Akpan, Devine, Oteh, and trying to shithouse our way to 1-0 wins.

We've actually - on the rare occassion we do it - looked good when we've got the ball down and attacked sides that way. I don't get why we dont do it more.
I also don't think Bowyer gets that extra 10% out his players like PP did, that run through a brick wall mentality.
We haven't had a big or really poor defeat yet like the ones we had last season. I wonder how we would react if we did?
