It shouldn't be hard to get the toilets in something like working order - but it's not our most pressing need. My big question also centres around our long term strategy and level of ambition. Both the city's major sporting clubs are also rans. Down on their arses and not really going anywhere. The city is also very much in the shadow of leeds and needs something to catalyse economic growth. The time is ripe for a modern, shared stadium with modern facilities and enjoyable match day experience. Something jointly funded by commercial enterprises and the local council - the ground could include public facilities to justify the public funding. ...and that’s how not to get an invite to any future meeting - you’ll need a defibrillator to bring round the old guards if you bring this up! Can’t we all stop this petty bickering and make a decision on whether we are going for pine forest or cool sea breeze piss blocks in the urinals.

Probably a drugs reference. Bet this one's on the Kop, eats chips cooked in a pan and has net curtains. 2/3 Not bad. Meatloafs rejected lyrics.

These would be my questions:
1) What is the long term strategy of the club and what is the final goal? Is it promotion to the Premier League? Is it a sustainable Championship club? 2) How will ticket prices be linked to the long term strategy? Will these rise in conjunction with moving up the leagues? If the answer is no, I would then ask how cash would be generated to enable a competitive playing side with a view of continuous improvement? (I'd still probably ask this question even if the answer was yes to be honest).
3) How much of the McBurnie cash has been made available? How much has Stefan pocketed out of this deal?
4) Why are only abbreviated (or whatever they are called now) accounts supplied to Companies House, leaving the Club as one of the only one's left, that continue to do so? What are they hiding? (I know it is legal, the point is more around greater transparency).
5) Are there any plans to move from Valley Parade?
6) Are there any plans for a purpose built training facility? Is this part of the long term strategy?
7) What is happening with Reeves?
8) Finally, how ambitious is the club? Do they feel that the club mirrors the fans ambitions?

careful m8, they'd have a heart attack answering some of those. Much better to ask if the cleaners have scrubbed the piss off the toilet walls yet.

Sparks and Watson aren’t going to answer those. You need to stick to why there are no twixes at the bars. On the other hand all the more reason to ask, show the Richard Liburd Fans Facebook page or whatever they’re called that they are set of Roger Hunts.

When I ask a question do I have to say "Hobbes, The Cows Arse" before I ask it?

Apart from the Bradford End, we have a modern stadium. The fact it's so grim down the main stand is because Uncle Edin went and bought the new seats from some geezer who nicked them off a Chinese midget. We don't need a new ground, we just need to get this one back off the parasitic theme park tapeworm.

Nearly all of it is at least 20 years old, the corporate areas are like an 80s working mans club .By the time the lease is up the stadium will be at least 25 years old with some parts over 30 years old. Thats coming the end of life span time in construction terms.

Exactly. Nothing stands still, and a ground which has been unchanged in 20 years is indisputably dated. The Bradford End is an embarrassment and unusable exvept when There's a massive visiting following due to being unable to serve alcohol. The concourses and toilets are shocking by modern standards, and that's not even mentioning the shite dressing rooms and the embarrassing way the players have to file out and line up in open view before "ta da!" they start to walk out.

I was in the Bradford End a couple of years ago, sat on the front row and the seat fell to bits, the metal bars underneath had more rust than the entire Forth rail bridge. That and the corner area where the changing rooms are a fucking embarrassment. That corner of the ground has changed very little since i was born, looks a joke when you see TV coverage of games from the midland road.

That bit predates the fire doesn't it? The Bradford End was a cheap and nasty Richmond bodge when it was built 30-odd years ago. But the rest? 20 years is nothing in football stadium terms. It needs tarting up but "modern" stadiums aren't young either. The Stadium of Shite is 20 this year. PS I want a hot water tank.

Bradford End went double decker in '91 apparently, think it must have been Tordoff or Simpson at that point as Richmond didn't rock up until '94. That corner in the 90s:

Bradford End was originally called The Family Stand when it opened I think. We had just signed Lee Power and kids got in there for a quid.

But the back wall is the original back wall from a fucking century ago. The whole ground is dated. If we owned it it would be different, but we dont, so let's fuck off and build something decent somewhere decent and look to the future.
