Nothing to be massively disappointed with, like as said it’s probably largely about quotas. But I thought wee Milambo was supposed to be the next Harry Maguire? On the flip side, we’re over stocked yet still lacking in midfield if we’re unable to shift some of this lot. Staunton is the one other clubs are sniffing round. Not much interest in Milambo so far.

RoI Youth International Staunton, Milambo is 18, if he was that good you’d have expected him to have made a sub appearance by now

The next Tom Penford, Craig Bentham, Kevin Sanasy, Joe Brown etc. Cos he's a local lad people think it's great, give the lad a chance etc etc. Let's just forget he's shit eh?

Sanasy was a good player, stinking attitude though which he was bombed our for. Was still like that when he worked at the gym I went to, bellend of massive proportions

I'm not exactly thrilled with his signing but hasn't he had a bad year or so with injuries? Certainly first half of last season, which might explain why he hasn't been out on loan. I'm cautiously optimistic he'll make it as a jobbing L2 player, in which case he's not the worst (re)signing in the world and he won't be on much dough. I'd rather have a limited Bradford lad who gives 100% than some nancy boy from Essex jogging and pointing for 90 minutes. Gomp gomp. Yes, ligament injury from something like July to November and then shortly after he came back from that he broke his toe. Never a chance of him being loaned out last season when he spent 90% of it on the treatment table.

That’s fair comment Lofty, I did think he looked a first teamer when he first broke through, not sure what happened to limit his appearances so much prior to his injuries. But it’s rare now we produce a player for the first team - anyone who’s any good gets hoovered up by a PL club aged 13 as soon as it becomes apparent they’re likely to make the grade. With the size of PL academies now the days of clubs like ours bringing through a player, never mind a generation of players, are long gone. That’s why the ones the big clubs don’t want end up in non-league or out of the game - they were never gonna make it. The nearest thing to an exception since Andy O’Brien is McBurnie.
