Accrington wanted to keep him and they fans, all 5 of them, are genuinely gutted to see him go. Those are usually good signs although his injury record isn't great. The fans generally know so it’s never a bad sign. The only caveat I’d add is that the glowing references don’t tally with the limited appearances. Still, he’s got to be a step up on NKP and O’Cuntor.

Centre half 'who can play left back'. Fuck off with this shit. Yup, it’s bollocks. Basically he’s a centre half who’s filled in occasionally at left back when injuries demanded it. You just know we’ll end up signing a slew of centre halves and this lad will end up at left back because he can at a push. One thing I’d like to see from Bowyer is and end to this playing players out of their preferred position crap.

I originally thought his limited appearances were through injuries; Stats posted by Dennis on the other site suggest that he genuinely was just a bench warmer. Either Accrington have a high influx of Gompers overstating his ability or they were just well covered at CB. Can't be any worse than NKP or O'Connor though surely.

Yes, but just the one I think - Connor Wood.

I’m not even taking the piss when I say I’m delighted he’s got form for assault. I hope he dishes out bollockings to go with the willingness to use his fists. Let’s see Josh Wright run around like the ref when he’s got GBH breathing down his neck.

Not a cunt like O'Conner, a twat like Wright or an arsehole like McMahon. We want a bastard. A right, fucking, bastard.

Its Accrington FFS, their fans are more happy to have a club to support even more than our fans. Our fans in a wanking frenzy after reading the words of Accrington fans. God we really are living the dream.

Yeah, he’ll be waiting in the mixer, meanwhile the rest of the josh Wright clones fuck about aimlessly somewhere in the middle of the park. I’m awaiting my enthusiasm to return tbh, it’s still only the 16th May. A few more of our famous marquee signings will get me in the mood.

LITERALLY WHO?
Still, for a free, and the level we’re at and the state of our defence it makes sense. No fucks given hard man, a shit house to boot. Half our defence doesn’t look as bad now. Mellor really looked sharp towards the end of last season.
WE’R ON OUR WAAAAAAAAAY

I put a big chunk of our relegation down to signing players who have been surrounded by failure - plenty of them have relegations, quite a few now have 2-3 successive relegations on their CVs.
If you're surrounded by failure it rubs off. You want players who are successful, whove been part of successful sides. They've got some winning mentality as opposed to losers who know when they've gone behind that's it.
At least it's a player who's progressing, in the sense of he was promoted last year.
