You know this price increase, what's the fucking point? Increasing it just guarantees you won't sell anymore. Leave them as they are and you may hook a few more in as we get into pre-season. As I see it, the earlier 'early bird' offer which started a month earlier than last year was a means of getting cash into the club quicker than usual. And that might help Rupp to hang fire on putting his own money into the club.Β But it starts to ring alarm bells for me. Good (but worrying) point. Looking across other clubs most are yet to start selling season tickets let alone shutting the door on early bird pricing.

I'll pay it if I see some ambition and a team developing, well if I remember to I will π ππ You've probably already bought one!

Ask him in a year or 2 and he'll confirm it.

A genuine concern I have Dennis is the amount of work the likes of Glen Ackroyd, Wetherby Whaler etc are doing. Volunteers that have paid to be directors doing vital day to day running of the club. Can't be sustainable.

Can't be sustainable. I agree with you. There's something not right at the moment at VP towers. At least Glenn Ackroyd is trying to change things on the PR/sales front but it's a bugger when our club has to rely upon volunteers for this. Plenty of positive messages - we've sold a lot of tickets; we'll have a competitive budget; the manager will have our fullest support; we'll be on the front foot for the summer. And yet there's an absence of any real action from Rupp and his millions. When I hear something that he has put his hand in his pockets or that I see something at Cos House that shows he has invested in the club then I'll be less anxious. But until then, it's a little worrying.
