Whats the reasoning behind it? Another Vietnam? Money. Always money. Yeah all the worlds ills at some point boil down to the folding stuff. It's your local street gang turf wars but on a massive scale. Each wanting to protect what they see as 'their wealth'. Local drug gangs use foot soldiers to protect their 'patch', the big boys use armies. The big boys use cover stories such as terrorists and religion. It isn't. Its money, the rich have it and they want more. To get more you're going to have to take drastic measures to get it.

Hoochy's right; it's always money. Money for oil, money from banking, money for land. There's money in war and money in rebuilding after war. Plus there's a constant, steady stream to be made from puppet governments. Assad isn't on side so he needs to be replaced with someone who is. The ones who don't play ball eventually succumb to the might of the US of A. Gaddafi, Saddam, others have been used and cast aside when failing to toe the line.

Whats the reasoning behind it? Another Vietnam? There’s a lot of oil in Syria. I’m saying why do we as a country give a shit? Syria has less oil than we have. Not sure oil's the driver.
