It reads that Salford City are reportedly interested (and Bradford fold.....) True. Our most successful transfer tactic seems to be to target players no other club wants. Those we can get over the line; any competition though and we're out: 'can't compete with...'. Of course there is one, small flaw in this approach... I just don't know why any other club with visions of grandeur haven't cottoned on to this surefire recipe for success.

What would be the Cows Arse consensus if we signed Dennis? Decent signing Imo. Not proven at this level it but you could put up a decent argument for him scoring a few next season. I'm certain he'll be more capable in front of goal that Poleon and Mcarten so he should theoretically improve us than do the opposite.

Dennis and Lyle Taylor incoming for nominal and free and Wyke out for £2m then that's a decent bit of business IMO.

Other than his twenty one goals last season I know fuck all about him. Happy to give the låd a chance ffs though obviously.

£2M for Wyke? According to Google he weighs 70kg so even if he was made of gold he'd only be worth £2.23M at current prices.

a lot of it is down to luck. For example, If we didn't give Hanson his big break he'd have probably played half of his career as a non league journeyman. And yet, regardless of what most of us on here think of him ability wise he's still had a good career as an established professional. Those are the fine lines involved in football. Once a player starts off low down the footballing pyramid it can be quite hard for them to get noticed. If Tyrel Robinson was playing in the 7th tier next season he could spend half of his career climbing up the ladder before he starts playing to respectable level (despite always having he ability to do so) and yet he's already had one pro season under his belt. Some just don't get as lucky. 28 years old and played 1 season in league one, the rest league 2 or lower. Nah.

I'd be under whelmed. he's not all that, although neither do I think Lyle Taylor is, so i'm probably unrealistic.

No chance will be be signing Otis Khan. There'll be a lot of competition for his signature which usually means we're fucked.
