Who's staying up to watch it?
A weak top order and no one with genuine pace to exploit the fast Australian pitches. Cummings, Starc and Hazlewood are going to rip through up.

Stokes will play the second test if we lose badly.

I've not decided yet, didn't get to bed till 4am and back up at 8. Usually try and stay up for the first 5 overs on a work night. I actually think we will smash them 3/4 -0.
Stokes was in our lasses pub the other night a bit worse for wear. You'd have thought if he had an inkling he would be going he would be off the alcohol

I'd rather give train a hand job than watch cricket.

Stokes will play the second test if we lose badly. No way. He's had a fight outside a nightclub. No worse crime.

I like to watch it on the radio. I like listening to TMS while driving. Hate listening to people talk about football but love listening to people talk about cricket. I might get into it properly when I finally fuck football off.

Bit of an institution is TMS. Still the best sports coverage anywhere but no as much as it used to be since they got women involved. Women, know your role.👊

Women, know your role.👊 Women are both the bedrock and the Achilles heel of civilisation. On the one hand they bake and knock out future generations of men but on the other we end up spoiling them by listening to their opinions resulting in a feminised and confused society.

Test cricket is one of the hardest sports to commentate on because most of the time it's boring as fuck and theres nothing happening.

I love a sport where there is such a thing as a “fantastic leave” Runs up bowls outside the off stump and he’s left it well alone and there is no run.

give me a good test match over a one day game everyday of the week. Test Match is the only real cricket. The other stuff is fun and watchable but Tests are proper cricket. I remember reading an article the thrust of which was how astonished an American was that it took five days to play a game of cricket. I'd watched it for years by then and it never occurred to me just how fucking odd that actually is. Five days for one result! It just always seemed perfectly natural up to that point.
