After what appeared like a decent summer of recruitment, we seem to have reverted back to the predictable clown show.
-Decent squad players and future prospects getting shipped out. -Top scorer getting frozen out and no doubt pimped to suitors. -Bringing in any old shite to plug the gaps.
Whats going on?

I don't think the aim given to MH this season was promotion. I'm reckoning it was to improve on last year as the priority and top 7 would be a bonus as we seem to be rebuilding now, in the middle of the season, when well placed. But saying that it's odd rebuilding - we're changing things that probably didn't need changing and not really addressing the problems we've had all season.
Spend in the summer, trim the budget in January. It smells a bit of those old JR transfer windows we had in the past where we tried to cut costs in January and just hope things improved on the pitch by themselves.
The incomings are a mix of loanees, a 36 & 34 year old, one of whom is here for 6 months. It seems like we're being patched up until the end of the season - I can't see any of the incomings strengthening the positions or weaknesses we have?
If Cook goes and our entire forward line consists of Oliver, Darbyshire and Costello then you can wave goodbye to promotion. Yeah, we can stick Walker and Eisa up there but they ain't going to lead the line.
I get the feeling we'll look back in summer and say for whatever reason losing Wright and Banks in their respective ways took a lot of our attacking creativity out of the side. Obviously Banks is still here but no-one else has filled in. e.g. Dion Perreria - what's the point?
This time next week we'll know for sure, but there's a lot of WTF going on right now. I'm getting the feeling some players definitely aren't as inspired my MH as they were last season and we needed that boost.

I'm getting the feeling some players definitely aren't as inspired my MH as they were last season and we needed that boost. The thing all pre season marketing spiel was about 'having a go', 'aiming for promotion' and the 'start of a new era'. The only decent Jan window we've had in recent years is 20/21 when we were staring relegation in the face... and Rupp and Sparks we're shitting themselves after shafting McCall in the summer. Granted losing Wright was a bit of a sucker punch, and Walker getting himself sent off didn't help... but surely all the more reason to give players like Young a crack? Instead of bringing in shite no one else wants. The problem is the owner has no ambition other than to break even and tread water. As sad as it sounds... the only thing that would force his hand is a decline in season ticket sales. All these joke clubs with sugar daddy owners must be dumbfounded how our fans get served up shite yet 14k of us keep coming back for more...

Songo'o was no Gareth Barry, but you knew that he'd give his all and would certainly make a positive impression on a game. If we're reverting back to trying to nick one and hold on I'd say he'd be perfect for the bench if not starting. But what do I know, I've not played for Man U, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Manchester City. Or managed exclusively in the Premier league.

We're getting rid of average players and still the fans moan. The Bradford city comfort blanket in full effect. Yeah, but we're replacing average players with shit players. I've always been meh about Cook, but replacing him with Derbyshire isn't an upgrade. As for what's happening, the German parasite is obviously back to sucking money out of the club. The guy's supposed to be worth €100m yet we've got less money than when Lawn was here. Haway.

We'll just delegate oversight to a few select gomperati. Even if he is siphoning off money, the gompers will justify it has a fair and reasonable for giving us a club to support
