Gillead: not quite working out is he? What does he actually do? He looks tidy I suppose but it never seems to amount to much. Odd player.

I thought we played quite well, up until the sending off at least. It was a decent game to that point, end to end with both teams trying to build and counter quickly. But after the red card we created maybe only two good chances, both falling to Cook and he couldn’t finish them and that cost us. Appreciate we did change it to try and grab a goal late on but piling into the box and lumping it isn’t much of a strategy. I think this is the first game I’ve seen Evans play well for us. Had a good game, much better than usual and a real shame his acrobatic effort early on was somehow how saved by a shakey keeper. I think Walsall were a bit lucky to take a point. I actually though evans did some good stuff yesterday, he was actively trying to get in an around cook for flick ons and was making some good runs. It’s just a shame the couple of times the linked up he fucked it up with the ball at his feet.

This post has been brought to the attention of the relevant authorities. Genuinely though as limited as Angol is he'd have helped today. The attention of those two units at the back would've been split between him and Cook. Instead they just bullied Cook all game. surprised we didn't bring Lavery and Robinson on sooner to counter that, 2 centre backs cant mark 3 strikers so one would've been free or had a full back on him freeing someone up
