Just me who thinks Songo'o has been shit so far? Slow and lets too much go past him. Can't pass a ball either.
Only his second full game so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but Sutton starts over him next week for me.

I think he's very good at breaking up play and tackling but not so good at the passing and football side of things. He stopped several attacks today.

Went to the seaside and didn’t see any of it. Got my hair cut by some Kurds and marvelled at the duplicitous engineering of the penny falls machines. What a world.

The amount of possession, freekicks he concedes is ridiculous and the amount of players that swan past him gets worse. There's a player there he can play the ball but how long are we waiting to see him become this player everyone thinks he will be?

I went yesterday and these are my conclusions:
ROD always has a howler in him, is permanently nailed to his goal line and doesn’t relieve any pressure at any time. Hornby is by no way the new Oliver Kahn but fuck me, just play the lad based on his ability to leave his goal line alone.
Defensively we are generally ok, POC and Canavan are decent enough centre halves, Ridehalgh is in my opinion fine as a League Two left back and that probably goes for FCD too. There were a couple of instances today where FCD stalled attacks because he wasn’t bombing down the line…he could do with working on that and obviously his crossing.
Midfield is again fine as long as we can move it quickly to Vernam or Cooke can work some space. To be fair to Orient, they knew exactly who our danger men were, Cooke had two on him every time the ball went within five foot and Vernam never had the opportunity to really get at their left back. Songo’o needs fo get fit, I’m hoping it’s fitness, quickly because he looks off the pace. He looks to be blowing out of his arse within 15 mins and I saw the same at Mansfield. It was too slow today and reminiscent of T&S era with a lot of passes going backwards, that’s the first time I’ve seen that this season.
It’s probably time go to wake up and smell the coffee on our forward men. Andy Cook offers nothing unless he’s playing against weaker centre halves (Stevenage) or having chances handed on a plate to him (Mansfield). His hold up play is non existent and he’s slow….don’t get me wrong he’s a good finisher but part of the problems we had in midfield this afternoon were because he can’t hold it up long enough or at all for us to be able to get forward. This is now the fourth game out of five that he’s been bullied by the centre halves in my opinion, it’s worrying if we are relying on this guy to fire us up, I hope I’m wrong. The other part of the problem (Hob is going to love this) is that we miss Angol, he does everything that Cook can’t but it’s glaringly obvious that his finished is woeful…in conclusion both strikers aren’t perfect and we need someone better.

We definitely miss my boy Angol. His hold up play is much better than Cook's and he takes the pressure off Cook. Without Angol the opposition defence know it's coming up to Cook every time so can double up on him in the air.

You know-nothings are on some bad crack. Angol is wank. I’ll be proven correct as always; give it time.
