Even though they're not the force of old we're nowhere near good enough to cause a shock. The best we can hope for is a 0-0 and win a penalty shoot out. Hopefully we can sell out and then the fans get to see the stadia we should have been playing at if wasn't for 20 years of mismanagement.
4-0 Them

We've had some right bummings at the hands of better teams haven't we at this stage in recent year? 4-0 at home to Preston and 5-0 to Lincoln in the last few years. And before that didn't we lose to a team in the legaue below?
Depends how much of a shit Adams gives about it I guess. If he doesn't it'll easily be another 4-0.

Think since making the final we've got past the first round twice.
This won't change Wednesday

Been worried all summer that we’ve signed a load of shite. I’d like that worry dispelling pretty quickly to be honest.

Can them scoring 6. Championship quality going to shit all over us. Fitness / physical attributes alone should embarrass our lot.

Wall ducked, went in a quarter of the way across the goal. It’s an ok free kick.

Wall ducked, went in a quarter of the way across the goal. It’s an ok free kick. From the other angle it’s a lot closer to the keeper and not as near the post as I first thought. I retract my ‘peach’ rating and downgrade it to a good free kick.

Sounds like a decent performance and wasn't the shoeing I expected but by christ we need someone to put the ball away. And we desperately need another hard midfielder, didn't see any of it but been told by 2 who are there that Watt has been shite again.

Most of our forwards couldn't finish a fucking happy meal.

Watt played alright tonight in what was for large parts of the game a really decent performance. Gillead was generally anonymous and I'd start Crankshaw on Saturday. Get a clinical striker in and I'd lump on promotion.

We were good tonight but our finishing is truly abysmal.
And I was right about Ridehalgh. Hes absolutely shite.

That forward line will cost us this year if we don’t do something about it.

Gillead is a funny one. Scunny fans really rated him, and I listened to Talksport’s coverage last night and they were complimentary about how he was a clever player and a ‘constant threat’.
Didn’t Scunny play him centrally? I’d rather have Eisa and Vernam either side of Cook.

I think Crankshaw has probably shown the most so far in them positions, but I really do think Gilliead and Songo'o in that sitting 2 will be our best bet. Songo'o breaking up the play and Gilliead to bring it forward at pace and play the quick 20 yard pass through to the wingers and the chefs. Gilliead can't really cross its pointless having him out there

Gilliead does everything well until it comes to shooting or crossing a ball, doesn't matter where you play him.
