We ain't beating Italy, not a fucking chance Aye it's ending at the last attempt. They're too streetwise for us. The wait goes in but at least we've reached a final whatever happens.

Southgate will shit it. He'll drop Saka and bring in Henderson to get an extra body in midfield, leaving Kane completely isolated.

Italy are masters of nicking one then deciding it’s game over.
I’m fancying cards for two teams that like a dive and an Italy win. Over one cards for both Italy and England and Italy to lift the trophy pays 11/2.

Did England win the World Cup in ‘66? You’d think someone on the BBC would’ve fucking mentioned it by now.

Declan Rice is playing like there’s two of him. Outstanding performance.

Why the fuck did we go for the “let’s defend our box for 70 minute” approach?
It’s literally madness.
Then why wait to change it up until after they equalised?

Rashford looked like a man who expected to miss. The sancho and Saka penalties were utter wank as well

Dreadful management from Southgate bringing the 2 young lads on just for spot kicks. He'd had Rashford ready to come on from 105 minutes too. He fucked that. I mean, it's a lottery a bit but give the lads a chance. So much pressure.

We won't win anything with Southgate. Nice guy and all but you actually need a good tactician if you want to win trophies and he certainly isn't that. Problem is he's the very definition of an FA yes man so we're stuck with him.

I think Southgate did pretty well. Needs to work on his subs and let the fucking reins off a bit, but compared to pretty much any other England manager he’s performed miles better.

The English love a nice guy. Yes he's done well to get to a final but in the last two tournaments he's been found out when his luck ran out l. Last night and against Croatia in the last World Cup he could necessitate change when it was clearly needed to change the result. Mancini would have won the cup with our squad.

He got the basics right defensively but we wasted some good players. Foden, Grealish, Sancho and Bellingham in particular didn’t get enough minutes whereas Mount, Saka, Henderson and, for different reasons, Sterling, got too many. I like Saka and don’t mind Mount but Saka is mostly potential and while Mount is improving neither of them are as good as the three I’ve mentioned above. As for Bellingham, every minute Henderson got should have been his. I’ve never seen a player get as far as Henderson has just by doing the basics of his job.

For all their possession, i thought Italy had few clear cut chances. And if it wasn't for a scrappy equaliser, we'd probably be hailing Southgate as a tactical genius. Fine margins etc etc. The thing is who would replace him? Hardly any decent English candidates to choose from. Gerrard? Lampard? Howe? Potter? Dyche? Bruce? All would be sidewards steps at best. Going foreign would be a backwards step IMO and would send out the wrong message. So i think we're stuck with Southgate untill at least the next world cup.

Sure he's been managing in that mickey mouse league but at least he has some silverware to his name as a manager. All Southgate has ever known is failure.

If this tournament is the template for our style of play, may as well give it to Bowyer
