What’s happened to Novak? Bringing Donaldson or Clarke on is like getting a man sent off. Won't see Novak in a city shirt again

We were dog shit today again. Last two games we've struggled to pass to each other and made some stupid decisions in possession. Creating fuck all too. No idea why we didn't sign a cm in January especially when we've got players like Burrell and Foulds who can't even make the bench. Sutton and Watt are fucked, mentally and physically. Just glad we didn't lose.

A point gained against a good team. Defence was good, lucky deflection for their goal. Character shown to claw a goal back. But overall we were very much second best, we'd wrestled some degree of midfield control first half but second half it was one way traffic. All in all a good point, but we've still got extra to find. As has been said Clarke and Donaldo as subs illustrates that our great window was essential maintenance. But play like that every week in this division and it'll be play offs minimum.

Just glad we didn't lose. Wouldn’t say we were dog shit, Bolton were a very good side but we didn’t help ourselves giving the ball away so much. There was a couple of minutes of pressure Bolton put on in the second half and there’s no way City could do that. We’ve improved enormously since December, but we still lack something in the box. Like you say, the lack of quality centre midfield January was a strange decision, hopefully there’s one or two available on a free because Sutton, Watt and Cooke need a rest. Clarke isn’t the answer and we’ve seen the last of Ismail and Pritchard.

Any other day - or definitely in the McCall era - that probably would be a loss.
After almost every attack breaking down due to over playing or making the wrong type of decision or poor cross, that was some composure to hit it like that at that time of the game.
Overall that was a very difficult test - we stood up to them for most of the game when we could have been overwhelmed. Like the other home games recently, we've had one chance or moment fall our way and we've managed to take it.
As team we look much more of an orgnsied unit, certainly defensively - but think we lack a bit more individual ability here and there going forward to really damage opponents.

We used to have loads of ammunition under the likes of BowyerS and Stuart but the new lads give you little material to work. Halcyon days them.

Back 5 were outstanding again, but they need to be as the decision making in the midfield is currently woeful. On another note, isn’t it great to be reminded constantly by those in the ground that it would’ve been great if fans were there and it’s really sad that we can’t go mental celebrating a last minute equaliser?
